Jason Dolby with Wells Fargo Promised me the world when I was shopping for a mortgage lender to do my refinance. I had originally chose Loan Depot and they had all kinds of horror stories about doing business with Wells Fargo. I wished I had listened to them because everything they warned me about had come to pass. I thought I could trust Wells Fargo since I have been banking with them for several years but in the end no one there cares about you and they dont mind giving the shaft to the little guy. Jason Dolby promised me everything would go well and I had no worries if I did my loan with him. The truth is that he mis handled my loan from the get go. It took him over a month just to get my home appraised He would lose Docs and I would have to get them a second time. he made a huge deal over a check that I dposited in my account from my divorce settlement. I had to give him all my personal divorce papers then he still made me write a letter about the check It became so frustrating that I sent the money back to her. Then He took a vacation the week my loan was supposed to close so nothing got done except that he gave me another $260.00 charge because he let my rate lock expire which he didn't need to do because rates haven't changed. Lets just say hes not the sharpest tool in the shed and is inadequate when it comes to understanding the business he has chose for his profession. On top of that his sense of ugurgency is lackadaisical at best. Jason is dishonest, unethical and only cares about himself and not his customers.

Sincerely

JJ

I find it hard to believe that this is been on the internet since 2014 and I have not noticed it. Silly me. of course there are two sides to every story and here is my rebuttal. Jeff came into my bank one day in the summer of 2014(((REDACTED))). He was very distraught, frustrated, angry and wanted to refinance to take cash out. The mortgage industry changed considerably since the last refinance he had complete and during the process there was a large deposit of money in his bank account and we needed to know where it came from. I asked him several times to provide a paper trail of the large deposit as this is a lendin requirement and he kept ignoring my requests.

This went on for weeks to finally he responded. At this point we were already 30 days in the process and he knew I was taking a vacation which had been planned months in advance. We also scheduled an appraisal where the appraiser reached out multiple times but found it extremely difficult to contact Jeff. Finally after weeks the appraisal was completed. Lenders lock interest rates for 60 days as that is plenty of time to close a loan. If a 60-day rate lock is missed it's because there are delays on either Gathering documents or getting an appraisal completed. Both of those happened in this situation.

All in all I can is I understand why he would be frustrated during a process as I would be as well if I lost my daughter. With that being said there was never any ill will at all. My role as a mortgage originator is to close loans as quickly as possible. We do not overcharge costs, extend interest rates on purpose or even delay loans for financial gain. Once we close the lawn and even weeks and months after I tried to reach out to see how he was doing, see if there's anything I can do to help and of course there were no call backs. I understand. But seeing this Ripoff Report seems a bit outrageous. I wish Jeff and his family nothing but good in this world and hope that he and his family have been able to process the tragic events that took place that summer 2014. If there is any way this report can be removed I would greatly appreciate it.

Revised and Added Information Updated Original.

Jason Doby with Wells Fargo Promised me the world when I was shopping for a mortgage lender to do my home refinance. Jason Doby promised me everything would go well with my loan and I had no worries he reassured me if I did my loan with him it would fund on time with no issues and I would be in good hands. The truth is that he mis handled my loan from the get go. He so misled me and I really wish I could go back in time and use Loan Depot. It took him over a month just to get my home appraised. He would lose Docs and I would have to get them a second time. he made a huge deal over a check that I deposited in my account from my divorce settlement. I had to give him all my personal divorce papers then he still made me write a letter about the check It became so frustrating that I sent the money back to my ex-wife. Then He took a vacation the week my loan was supposed to close so nothing got done. So when he returned my rate lock had expired. So then he charged  me another $260.00 charge because he let my rate lock expire which he didn't need to do because rates haven't changed. Today he called me and said I had to sign papers or he would cancel my loan. I told him I would like to sit down with him and have the HUD statement and the rest of the papers explained to me since the total fees were now close to $3500 and they were only supossed to be $2,400 per Jasons verbal promise to me. When I was going over the Good Faith Estimate with him in the beginning he would tell me not to pay attention to certain fees and line items that they didnt count and were already paid in another column. He is a Huge Liar and Lets just say hes not the sharpest tool in the shed as he is inadequate when it comes to understanding the business he has chose for his profession or he just plays stupid so he can prey on people like me. On top of that his sense of ugurgency is lackadaisical at best. Jason is dishonest, unethical and only cares about himself and not his customers. I had to sign papers today and I have questions about the docs I signed today. Jason told me just sign them you dont need to understand them today I will tell you what they mean tomorrow since he didnt want to meet me because his back hurts today. I have since spoke with his manger Julie Piccione and the situation has been explained to her. She said that she was already aware of what happened and they are asking the mortgage mangers at wells Fargo to make ammends with me since the extra fees are not my fault but she said Wells Fargo is not willing to do anything. She gave me some well rehearsed canned information so that I could call the office of the president. I also complained to the Banks Service Manager Jennie Timlin she apologised profusely for what I am going through. She called Julie on my behalf but again they are just not willing to help. Did I mention that on Julies Business card it says that she is a Certified Military Specialist. Im not sure how that works but I am prior Military and disabled. I made no mention of this to anyone. Only Jason knows because he sees my financial docs. In other word I am not trying to get special treatment. I just want to get the same service as the average Joe. I want people to be truthful when doing business. Make commitments with care then live up to those commitments. Is this really to much to ask. Anyway I told Julie and Jennie that I was taking my complaint to the OCC and she immediately told me to make a complaint to the president of wells fargo instead of filing the OCC complaint. I will file my complaint with the entity of my chosing wich will probably be anyone that cares or would like to hear about my bad experience. I understand that I won't get resolve but I want to at least make sure others are warned about who not to do busines with unless you want to get ripped off

Sincerely

JJ
