I was looking for a job online using career builder. i received an email saying a qualified for an interview and to come in. when i showed up at the office building in metro center nashville, i felt i was way underdressed compared to everyone else there.

I come from a poor working class family, i've never owned a suit, or any formal dress. i had on cords and a button up shirt. the interview went well and i didn't think i would hear back because of the way i was dressed, even though i tried to dress up. well then i receive a call that i had qualified for a second interview and was very surprised and excited.

The second interview was being in the field. i had to buy new dress shoes, pants, shirts, belts, socks, etc. it seemed like the people i was with were having a hard time selling the product. but i knew i could do it. the first three days were considered training that i would automatically get $100 for.

Training came and went, and i felt pretty comfortable going door to door. i did pretty well and one day i sold the most product of the day, something we called being the "HIGH ROLLER!" and supposedly i made $250 that day in commission. then it was up and down from there sometimes selling some, and other times "rolling a goose egg"

After two weeks i thought i had a little over $550 coming to me. at the beginning of the first week i got wind of the secret plan to move to kentucky and start tek marketing going b2b "business to business" Jason wanted me to come with the company. and at first i agreed to go, no one besides five people in the company knew we were moving until two days before the last days in nashville. (huge red flag) i still hadn't been paid and didn't want to leave my friends and family on a whim. so i didn't go.

Ive never been paid, Jason told me on the phone that he sent the check, but took down my address (as if he didn't already have it)and said he would resend it. it never came and i haven't been able to get back in contact. i called one of the people that used to work there to find out if he got paid, he said Jason reluctantly paid months later after his mom got on the phone threatening him with the bbb. i go on this website and i searched his name and tah dah! there it was with a complaint about how another person almost fell for it. i need money, we worked 6 days a week mon-sat 9-10 hours a day.

CXN -what a joke- nobody makes money

#5UPDATE Employee

Sun, September 05, 2010

CXN is now in Conchohocken PA.

I worked there for a few weeks last spring. I read all the stories and they are all the same. They are another Cydcor front office.

They had 5 new people start every other day, but none stayed around. They told me all my sales would be paid in two weeks, but there was always some reason later why i wasn't paid. Verizon cancelled the order one day, the next day it was because there was a computer error that put a sale under someone else's name. They weren't errors, they told us to do it that way "to make the sale process easier"! Every person I talked to had the same thing happen. The owner would always talk about how great it was to run a business on one hand, but later talk about how he wanted to "grow the business" so he had control of how things work. Apparently , it's not too great to work for Cydcor anyway. This is not a good place to "work". They spend more time and money doing twitter and facebook PR then they do at business, hoping you will never see these reviews. Never work for a company that has all of their positive recommendations made by employees. The "clients" don't even list them as clients!

They even called me again a few weeks ago , because  "their system couldn't tell I was me because I got a new email address". Apparently if you post your  resume with a different email and list a sales job as a target market they'll hire you again, even after you already quit once! I quit after a few days, but not before they told me the manager retreat was in Miami at some hotel that nobody there could ever afford in their wildest dreams. People there average like $300 a week IF they get paid, and they take the managers to a $600 a night hotel? They talk about training, but they hired some guy to come and train from Verizon. They talked about teaching business, but it was all about getting the next sucker in the door to start, to get the next sucker at the door to buy your sales pitch.

Save your time and money, unless working 12 hour days , 6 days a week for $5 an hour selling fios door to door is appealing to you.

IN DEFFENCE OF JASON DOLIVECK

#5UPDATE EX-employee responds

I worked for Jason Doliveck at TEK Marketing Group for a little over three months.  While there I not only made above average entry-level pay, but I was also taught very valuable skills that I use in my current marketing position.  The only reason why I left TEK was because of my one hour plus commute from Indiana.

Not only was Jason Doliveck very fair with pay, I also received bonuses and gas reimbursement.  Five weeks after I left the company I received a check in the mail for $142 for an application that was processed at a later date.

My relationship with Jason Doliveck is still strong; I look to him as a great mentor.  I developed so many valuable skills that I now use on a daily basis.  The biggest thing I took from there was developing self confidence and learning how to work in a goal oriented environment.

just type his name in google and track him down. is this him on facebook?

you can file a claim with the BBB but that doesnt do much. file a claim with the attorney general and get your money, it doesnt take long and you can do it online.

Here is Jason's new information, I do notice he didn't even have to knowledge to change the email from herodian marketing to tek marketing, so that should show right there what quality of this business. GOod luck in collecting your paycheck he owes it to you. He is not reported w/the BBB, but CXN is due to a different owner/president Tim Koontz. I am glad I looked into this before getting sucked into it, but did waste my day on the second interview. I would move fast as they are starting to ship people out of state to do their "sales", so it shouldn't be long before they move again. If you call that number you'll get Sara Morgan which I believe was his Secretary in Nashville too. Again good luck.
