Complaint Review: Jason M. Spencer Student Loan Relief

Jason M. Spencer Student Loan Relief Inc.Florian Pauly Breach of payroll agreement, fraud, false information submitted to the Department of Education on behalf of clients, verbal harrassment and wrongful termination. Dallas Texas

I believe that my peers and I have truly been taken advantage of, mislead and abused in numerous ways by the CEO of the entity "Jason M. Spencer" not only does he have a terrible history and a bad reputation, but has also failed to meet employee employer agreements with more than a few fronts, including but not limited to, compensation, employee employer agreements and benefits packages, failure to provide payroll schedules, hours, or even proof of income (such as when an employee needs to purchase or lease). I have all of our written correspondence since almost day 1, and more than a few statements and testimonials from other employees. As the Chief Marketing Officer of the entity, Jason has made me very generous offers and agreements, both verbally and in writing, which he has failed and blatantly refused to meet. Furthermore, Jason humiliated me and other colleagues in front of our peers, and on an anger tantrum with a former employee (who was just asking for her rightful pay check) he threw a chair, and stormed out saying "stop talking like you're going to sue". This man has hurt many former and present employees, including myself and he needs to be brought to justice, because the extent of the damage that he has inflicted, reaches beyond employees to clients. Where on several counts Jason KNOWINGLY input false information on Federal Student Aid Program applications to decrease income driven payment amounts for clients, by providing a higher family size figure. Please contact me as soon as possible, as this transition and job loss have left me almost crippled financially. I wish I had more free time while job searching and trying to stay afloat, to include more details, but I'm delighted to provide more intricate details with the right representation, in a court setting. Thank you,

To anyone who is reading and ever had to look for a job after either a gap in enployment history, or even worse like what happened to me when I was F***** OVER, not ripped off. like all of his poor ignorant clients that pay for something which takes a few minutes to submit via GOVERNMENT websites and is absolutely, 100% FREE.

Jason- you're a joke and so is your company. I seriously believe you have mental issues, especially when you continue to cry for any little attention well over a year since my encounter with you. Bottom line, I left my more secure job for what i thought was a bigger opportunity, but instead I had an inconsiderate, manipulative, deceptive and completely disgusting human specimen as a superior. From the "month" which you didn't f****** pay me unless it was weeks late(I have records of the 100s i paid in late fees on all of my bills and bank statements) and God only knows how miniscule the sum of my earnings was as CMO. Yea, big fancy title, alcoholic meetings and f****** pretentious act, but no, literally NO MONEY to back it up. Go read my previous remarks on this page, because ALL of it is true, yet you fail to acknowledge any of it; instead you want to deceive more people by writing false information regarding me, my character and my experience working at your dump. yes, I said dump, hence, I speant multiple nights getting your tiny office space and even YOUR dirty a** desk with rotting food on it because that's how frequently you showed face in the office. Eat ***t Jason.

The guy who made a cashier clerk at CVS return over $100 worth of items (mostly wine and champagne cheap s*** so many bottles) you made her re-scan everything because YOU forgot to use your CVS card. Saved 3 dollars, points for time wasted and lack of any decent amount of courtesy. You're an expert at 1 thing, crying like a b*** because you cant stand that someone took action to expose your wicked schemes.

Let's see if SLR is doing good on the BBB shall we?

Go f*** yourself, a******.

Poster's Resume Attests to 9 Month's of Employment versus the 1 Month Claimed in His Post here

#13REBUTTAL Owner of company

Poster Either Admitting to this Post not being true on lying on his resume again to trick someone else into hiring him

Came across the posters resume on Indeed.com open to the public for anyone to see and not only is every bullet he lists in his accomplishments during his "9 months" with us not something he had anything to do with but they do not even have anything to do with our company.  But I thought it was relevant here in that he only worked for us for a month before we had to let him go (which is allowed per the first sentence of his "contract" he has attached but apparently never read) yet he attests that he worked for us for 9 months.

Even funnier is he says on his resume he was still working for us in November 2015 which was well after he posted this public service announcement to warn the public about how he was ripped off.   But how could that be if according to this honest man's resume he was still working for us when he posted he had been fired?

Its too bad more people don't consider the source when reading things like this.  When a company lets someone go its never good for the complany as an overall experience.  And if we let someone good go who really loses?  If the employee is worth what they were being paid they will find it somewhere else but employer is out the hiring, training and acquisition costs of that person and its crippling in its true overall cost.

Final Response

#13Author of original report

Wed, February 10, 2016

Jason- This is the last time I'm willing to waste time writing a response to you or "one of the people you complain to about your problems". It seems like anyone who would be inclined to make such defaming accusations towards someone like me, who not only went above and beyond to help you and your joke of an organization, in and outside the office, during and post business hours, would at least show any sufficient evidence to support any of the garbage you had to say about me, other than facebook pictures which are not publicly shared FYI and are only visible to my friends. Oh but wait, you're unable to provide any, because if i even have the slightest vague recollection of me and other peers demanding our tax

documentation and employment agreements/policies and procedures, even your 501(c)3 for the non profit which you never filed back then and said you did. Nothing about you is legitimate, and thats why I decided to write an online complaint, because I not only want to expose you to others who may be considering the terrible decision of doing business with you, but I seriously want you to pay me, and everyone who's had similar experiences with you for the hardship you inflicted upon us. Guys, if Jason tells you anything, request it in writing, watch his face, evaluate his

response, and recite what he said to you back to him over and over again as you wait indefinitely for the terms of the agreement to be met. Jason, you are a joke, oh yea where's my W-2? They were due in the mail by January 31st. Let's start from the beginning, shall we? When you first contacted me regarding the position and we discussed my financial and sales background and how i would be able to positively impact your organization's SALES. How I would be able to recruite a team, and make loads and loads of money selling student loan relief's services to SO MANY PROSPECTS that already inquired about the programs. All a big fat lie, and when I began to work for you it was a 24 hour commitment, from the

late night phone calls to the staying in the office until midnight or later rewiring and rearranging your office so the fire marshall wouldn't cite you! When you wouldn't show up to the office for weeks on end and nobody would be able to get into contact with you, and the office's lease payment was past due and the building security came in repeatedly asking for you. The fact you wanted to add over 100 3rd party integrated applications on Salesforce for the menial task of managing student loan client information confirms your stupidity and unmatched ability to over complicate matters. YOU'RE NOT MANAGING OR SERVICING THEIR LOANS, their servicer does, such as Sallie Mae and Nelnet who literally went through

and locked all of your clients' student loan accounts restricting them from being accessed by anyone, hmm I wonder why that is? Apparently, from Jason's perspective, the shortest distance from point A to point B is NOT a straight line. For those of you who don't understand how simple the process of consolidating your student loans and enrolling them into one of the respective federal student loan repayment or "forgiveness" programs, I was doing it at another company prior to working with Jason, and we used one of the most basic CRM's available called Zoho, because all you needed was to securely collect client's personal information from them, and fill out the appropriate consolidation application, which is

available online with instructions at Studentaid.ed.gov, then you wait 60-90 days for the Department of Education to process your application. Next, you proceed to opt into one of the income based repayment plans or your preferred option by accessing your student loan accounts online, which is also through your loan servicer's online portal and definitely NOT Student Loan Relief's. Jason, you claim I was never in the office before 10:00 and I only worked for you for a month yet I started in Feb and still have a direct deposit form dated in May, which I sent to you multiple times prior to, which you did not use and decided to HAND WRITE my checks (which I also have dated in May) when you realized you

were too incompetent and technically illiterate to figure out your own quickbooks payroll system. Jason, I want my money back man, because your mouth writes checks nobody, not even you, can cash. You offered me a job to sell and consult for your services, and I ended up being your cancellation, dispute resolution/refund specialist and customer service agents, but definitely no leads to sell anything to. No wonder I didn't want to take phone calls, they weren't leads or inquiries, but only cancellations and pissed off clients asking for you by name and cursing you by name Jason, and Jason was always missing for some reason, or better yet, still home in his ghostbusters t-shirt drinking and hanging out with

sorority girls, or at the movies in his 6 series BMW while we're at the office until midnight repairing damage Jason and his previous employees caused, or preventing unnecessary expenses for Jason's company. I showed up at 10 on some days because I was working late for guess who, yep, Jason on the computer he provided me, only after I realized that instead of the 100k a year I was promised via salary and commission from accounts I take over or that I acquired through our sales process, I was lucky if I took home 2k within a month, especially not knowing if or when I would be paid after chasing you down on numerous occassions, so I literally couldn't pay my rent, bills, and then gas for an hour and a half

rush hour commute each way, so we agreed that I would be able to have access to my work from home, and I did log in each and every morning and night to continue forbearing or deferring YOUR hundreds of client accounts that were far beyond past due to the extent of adversly impacting clients' credit scores. Not to mention the multitude of accounts I found that were deliberatley altered to show a larger family size in order to reduce or eliminate income-based loan payments. However, just because you went in and dispositioned hundreds of accounts into my name, doesn't mean that I didn't work on them without being paid any of the residuals or bonuses you proposed. You would have known that had

you actually kept a log of my remotely input "keystrokes" as you claimed you did, and if I wasn't logging in from home, how else would i have learned that I no longer work for you, other than trying to log into salesforce and being denied, and having to call you to figure out that I was let go, without actually being notified. Furthermore, for someone who bragged as much as you about your salesforce expertise, you would think it would work properly, or that you would pay them on time. Oops, I accidentally found that out when trouble shooting why we were unable to access it on one of the days I was in the office and I learned that your account was past due! You have a history of not paying people, and I'm

not the first to complain about it. At this point I'm obviously beginning to rant, so I'll leave you with this... You have discredited, defamed and insulted me online, which really doesnt matter because all of my employers from before, and yes after you, seem to be pleased enough with my performance, as I have been recommended time and time again by companies that uphold superior employee performance metrics/payroll/attendance, and record keeping standards than you if I might add, you continue to insult my intelligence or as you so eloquently put it, my "stupidity", while misrepresenting yourself, lying and failing to meet terms of verbal/written agreements. You violated TWC

regulations by not posting a payroll schedule or company policies in places where employees gather or simply providing them upon request (they didn't exist), so they are not ill informed and having to frequently ask or chase you down for payroll. The risk, and time I invested into working for you because of the highly attractive and lucrative offers you made, is one I will always remember as the greatest learning experience I have ever endured. It's really my fault for being young and naive to think that any of the things you said, even about yourself, are true. Do your research people. Jason and student loan relief inc. may hide behind clever online SEO, SMM, buying "likes" on facebook and far from organic

online reputation management, but he's just a guy trying to make easy money by taking advantage of people. Also, Jason, I suggest you refrain from writing up rebuttals under different names, because I know you, and I know you're the one that came up with the load of false derogatory BS regarding making females uncomfortable and doing illicit drugs. Completely your style, all mouth but no legs to stand on, along with the fact that there have been complaints of you doing it to other people in the past. Nobody likes you, not the other way around, proven so by the fact that I'm the type of person that was providing transportation to aid one of your employees for the majority of the week. People have reached out to me with some really interesting information pertaining to your transgressions. Have a good life, and this is goodbye.

Ari Bashir- Not a good employee

#13UPDATE Employee

Mon, January 04, 2016

I am an employee at Student Loan Relief. I happened to come accross this page and was utterly shocked by what Ari had to say about the company and about Jason, the CEO. Jason has been nothing but a great employer, always making sure we have the tools and training to do what we need to be doing. He's been lenient and understanding in many ways, whether it be coming in 15 minutes late because i had a flat tire or needing to take the day off last second due to a family emergency. However, Ari never came to work on time. In fact i dont think i saw him in the office before 10am (We open at 9). Within the short few days that Ari worked with us, me and many of my other coworkers began to realize the type of person he really was- irresponsible and unreliable. In fact, the day of his interview with Jason and Florian, in order to try to prove how "cool" he was Ari decided to do donuts in the middle of a busy street in downtown. This lead to his car being completely destroyed giving him excuse after excuse as to why he was late or why he needed his paycheck in advance. Me and my coworkers couldnt even fathom the stupidity of this guy when we heard about it, however we decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and make him feel as welcome as we could. As hard as we tried the harder he made it for us to like him (unintentionally. Its become apparent that he is just not a very likaeble person.)

As a woman, i just felt constantly put down and uncomfortable around him. He would not take any advice or help from me, even if i offered it up myself, whereas if a male employee were to help him the same way he would willingly accept it. Aside from that he made multiple innapropriate comments and jokes towards and about females that made many employees extremely uncomfortable. At work he couldnt handle even the simple tasks Jason would ask him to do, like occasionally answer the phone. Ari thought he was "too good" for such menial tasks and answering the phone was simply beneath him. What he doesnt get is that all employees at Student Loan Relief, no matter your title or job position, are sometimes required to answer the phone. None of my other coworkers have ever seemed to have a problem with this, but then again no one else ive worked with seemed to have such a superiority complex. I believe Jason's decision to let Ari go was absolutley necessary for the company. Ari was much more of a liablity than an asset. He didnt watch what he posted on his facebook page, posting pictures of him smoking out of strange looking objects, which most people could reasonably assume is some sort of illegal drug. These actions being displayed publicly on employees facebook pages can make the entire company look bad, and anyway, is that type of person really even someone you want working for you? the answer is no. You really, really dont want an employee like Ari. I mean, the fact that after working for a company for just a little over a month, and never coming in on time or taking care of the tasks assigned to you (so other coworkers had to pick up the slack), Ari decides to go online and undeservingly bash his boss very publicly just shows the risk anyone takes by hiring him. He will continue to be an unresponsible employee, and then when any sort of consequence is implemented because of his own actions he will go online and throw a tantrum, and then have his girlfriend join in it with him.

He Said She Said

#13General Comment

Wed, August 26, 2015

Hello,

My name is Kelsey and I am the significant other of Ari as of the past 3 years. Normally, I feel it would not be my place to chime in on such things concerning his professional life and things of the sort especially since I would obviously be somewhat biased. However, some false accusations have been made towards him by his bitter ex-employer and other "randoms" on this website and it's time for things to be set straight.

I would like to make a few comments towards several of the statements made in Mr. Spencer's oh so 'professional' rebuttal.

1.) "No bank account, no car, no home" -

First, Ari did and does in fact have a bank account, though, he did have a hard time using it seen as how he never received a paycheck on time nor was it ever the full amount agreed upon . Second, he obviously had a car, you said so yourself in your concluding paragraph (???). He also has a very nice apartment might I add.

2.) "He was grossly tardy, left early or no call no showed 40 out of 44 days." -

If that was even remotely true, why would you not have fired him the third day of doing so as you did to a plethera of your other employees? Seems you need some managerial training if you allow such acts to take place within your company for such a long period of time.

3.) "Here are pics of the source doing illegal drugs"

First and foremost, you only posted one picture, not multiple "pics" of him smoking hookah that was taken over two years ago. If you or the other readers are not aware of what hookah is, please refer to the following definition: ' Hookah - noun - is an oriental tobacco pipe with a long, flexible tube or hose that draws the smoke through water contained in a bowl.' Now, you can clearly see the hose in his hand smoking tobacco and there are no signs of any illegal activity being conducted whatsoever.

4.) "The Interview"

It's strange that you can comment on the events of that night seen as how you only made a five minute debue and left your right hand man Florian to conduct the remainder of the interview, if you even wanted to call it that. Yes, Ari was drinking that night, as did Florian, who picked up the tab might I add. Funny how a company who would consider this to be an unprofessional interview on the applicants part would pick up the tab, spend the entire night entertaining the applicant and then proceeed to GIVE HIM THE JOB.

5.) "hit and run"

I attached a picture of his totalled car which clearly shows he was the recipient of the hit and run incident. A drunk driver ran a stop sign and him on the side of his car. I wonder how he preformed a hit and run from the right panel of his car?

6.) "he's sexist"

All I can say on this subject is that I have been with this man for three years and he has never treated me with anything other than the upmost respect and there is nothing sexist about him. However, I can't say the same for Jason's right hand man Florian. There isn't anything much more "demeaning to woman" than what this man says in this video that you may watch on this following link. https://youtu.be/EsuznypvyFA

Now, everyone can go on all day with the "he said she said" but the truth lies in facts and this conversation needs to stay professional from this point on as Ari intended with his initial post and refrain from making any more personal attacks towards anyone based on your own insecuries.

I worked with Bashir Ari Alridi at another company and can verify the reports that he is not a solid employee. He is known to harass employees, specifically females, he lies all the time and he is very sexist. He was eventually fired from the company that I work for and should not be hired to do any job that requires professionalism.

I Think It May Be Impossible For Bashir Ari Alridi to Tell the Truth

#13REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, August 11, 2015

My name is Jason Spencer and I thought it may be prudent for me to respond to the words this disgruntled Fired ex-employee decided to write online.  I will start by saying that I would sue him for defamation but what the point when he has no bank account, no car, no home, not even a computer.  And I have found that those types of people that spend all of their waking hours lying to everyone about how great they are always end up with nothing because nobody likes a liar because no one can trust liars.

You don't have to go any futher than to read his one page employment contract to see he is lying regarding wrongful termination.  Which is precisely indicative of the talents Bashir displayed on the very few occasions he decided that he would grace us with his talents and actually work.  He was grossly tardy, left early or no call no showed 40 out of 44 days.  And thats just where it starts with this guy as he was unquestionably the worst hire made in the last 16 years.  Never seen anything like him.  I could go on and on about his endless lies or criminal record but I think his public facebook page says it all (where he still purports to the public to be the Chief Marketing Officer--a title given to him in pity as we had the sales end shut down and it was clear that a title was much more important to him than any other benefits)

Always consider your source--here are pics of the source doing illegal drugs--where he has decided to post them to the public--along with various pictures of him staring at himself half naked and jokes demeaning women.  Yes easy to tell that the character of this man is impeccable.  Only picture I am missing is that of him after his final interview ( in which I had nothing to drink) in which he gets drunk and totals his car in a hit and run in Uptown--So if anyone got hit by a Ford Mustang that ran afterwards this is your guy.

Since I was only employed by Jason for a brief 2 months, and you needed me to take care of something for you that wasn't in my job description, I'm sorry to say, but you dont know what you're talking about. I was never hired on to be customer service, nor was I hired on to be anything, but crisis containment for a company that was crippled financially and severely under staffed; like on many other accounts, I'm certain that your forbearance that would have taken me 5 minutes to complete, was hindered by my loss of employment. Furthermore, I'm not the, excuse me for saying, ignorant borrower that is paying someone for something I am able to do for free. My job wasn't to forbear loans for disgruntled clients, and the fact that you mentioned I was sexist and a long list of other hateful accusations that lack any veracity, only gives away how truly naive and incompetent you really are. Who's to say you didn't just read my name and assume based on false stereo types that I'm the things you used to describe me as. Since I've already taken the time out of my day to respond to your petty and false accusations, why don't I mention that your "buddy" Jason is the same person that will get you drunk, manipulate you into thinking you are taking a position of stature "CMO", only to show up and have to move desks and plug in computers, take CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLS, meanwhile he ignores you from day 1, not brief or train you on what happened, and when he did he was lying, and finally NEVER, not even once, pay you on time, or as agreed. Then you tell me if you'd be willing to do the work of 15 employees under those circumstances. P.s. If you are suffering from an economic hardship, you need a deferment, not a forbearance. Honestly though, you need to just pay your debts as agreed, but I guess that makes you a great client for Jason, he's also always trying to get something for free! Best regards, Ari,

SLR Client AGAINST Author

Tue, August 04, 2015

I have been a client of SLR since 2012 and I am now (thankfully!) closer than ever to repayment. I had not had a single problem with my account until it was taken over by this author (the "Cheif Marketing Officer"). I needed a 1 month forbearance because of financial hardship (I had got a 2 in the past totally easily with a simple phone call, he said he would take care of it and never did! This was the first in a series of never-ending tragedies that hit my account while he was the owner (less than TWO months!) He would not ever return a phone call or email and when a MIRACLE happened and I was able to get in touch with him his comments were always cocky, rude and often SEXIST! It was a nightmare, I got a hold of the CEO (Jason) and asked to have my account transferred and it was, THANK GOD. Additionally Jason fixed all of the problems with my account, lowered my payment and got me a grant to get me closer to being DONE with my student loans :) He was such a pleasure to talk to. He informed me that the "Cheif Marketing Officer (I think his name started with an A. Had been terminated and I have not had a single problem with my account since! I love this company they totally saved my life from student loans and this butthurt writer is clearly disgruntled because he was an awful employee who got what was coming to him. I don't really care if your boss "embarassed" you or not doing your job if you weren't doing your job WHICH AFFECTS YOUR CLIENTS LIFE! GLAD HE'S GONE!

I Think It May Be Impossible For Bashir Ari Alridi to Tell the Truth

#13UPDATE Employee ..inside information

I have worked with Bashir Ari Alridi and he is the most worthless co-worker I have ever worked with --in fact all he does his sit around and tell you how much better he is than you--show you pics of himself with his shirt off then drop and perplexingly start doing push ups in between calls in a suit---weirdest guy of all time---all his comments above all lies just like every other word out of this losers mouth---thats why he has no car, no job, no home and no class.
