Complaint Review: Wright & Weiner (Jason Weiner)

I was innocent of charges for domestic violence and had mounting proof to back my innocence. I just needed a lawyer to represent me because you only get ONE SHOT at this. Jason Weiner said that since I had no previous record (I even passed a background check with LVMPD for my CCW) I was an upstanding member of society and very involved with the community and successful in ALL other aspects of my life, AND the proof was undeniably in my favor, there would be no way to loose.
Then we showed up for trial 6 months later. Within minutes of his arrival he asked me to take a plea deal so he wouldn't be late picking his kids up. I said I would rather leave in cuffs that take a plea deal. As I persisted that we should go to trial, then it came out that he was not prepared. He did not have copies of multiple police reports (that I had faxed to him and brought to his office, AND he had 6 months to get through other avenues) Additionally, he lied to my face and told me that the police officer who arrested me could not stay for trial.
I realized that he was so ill-prepared that I would surely lose the case so I paid a fine. On our way out, we SAW the police officer who "could not stay". I asked her about what the lawyer said and she denied it. Jason Weiner was next to me and tried to say that someone else gave him that information.
Basically it comes down to this. If he was not prepared to handle a case which should have been a piece of cake since it was a first incident and I had no priors, then would he be the right person to represent you??
