Beware of Javitch, Block & Rathborne Attorneys who are a debt collection agency.  I had an HSBC credit card. I've always paid my bills.  I fell behind in February, 2009.  I was able to deal with CitiCard and AMEX.  These attorneys want blood.  They first called my wife and threatened to sue us and take everything.

They filed a Summons Complaint in Common Pleas Court.  I did what I was supposed to do and filed my answer back to them and the courts.  I offered to make payments or a settlement offer.  Next I receive papers by regular mail from them that looks like they are from the Court of Common Pleas.  It is a "Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings" and a "Judgment Entry".

My letter to them where I offered to pay is also listed as Exhibit A.  There is nothing accepting my payments.  According to the FDCPA Debt collectors may not  send you anything that looks like an official document from a court or government agency when it is not.  This is definately papers looking like their from the Courts.  I am also filing a complaint with the Attorney General in Ohio and the FTC.

I don't know what or how to deal with these people.  They seem to want to ruin my life.  I cannot believe this is legal.  I do not want a judgment against me and my wages attached.  I could lose my job.  This is fun for them and somehow I can't believe this is legal.

I have also had $100 per month added onto my credit card bill.  Something is wrong with this picture.  Can anyone out there help fight these deceptive lawyers.  They have themselves regarded as lawyers instead of debt collectors so they can break the law.  This is wrong! Never once did I get a bill from them.
