Jay Napier-Coastal Vacations Overcharged for a fraudulent Vacation Package Goodlettsville Tennessee
I called Mr. Napier (Coastal Vacation Director) in January and asked him about the Coastal Vacation Travel Program. I mentioned to Mr. Napier that I could only pay in installments. He said that was fine, I could pay the $1295.00+35= $1330 in three payments. When I called him back in February to purchase the package he told me to send him $630.00+$35 S/H=$665. After I sent the cashier's check via Federal Express he emailed me and told me "Per our agreement. You have paid $630 dn pmt. You'll owe two payments of $400.
I emailed him to questions why he was inflating the price and he replyed with a payment description that still didn't add up. I was afraid that he would just keep my money and never send me the package so I sent him the balance.
He mentioned in January that he likes to send the Vacation Package after the first installment so I could get the feel of the package. I didn't receive the package until I made the second payment. I have tried to make the best out of an unhappy situation but when I tried to use the Vacation Package all I've gotten is the run around and each travel agency just keeps asking for more money and one cancelled my reservations at the last minute, then told me I would have to wait another 30 days to use my travel reservations.
I am very unhappy with my Coastal Vacation Package so I called A Board of Director Member of Coastal and I was told to ask for my money back from Jay Napier so I want Mr. Napier to refund me back my money. I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General.

I'm sorry to hear that he has ripped off another person. This character continues to rip off people. It amazes me he can treat people like he has and sleep at night. A good business man would want to clear their name and keep their customers happy for repeat business.
I hope and pray that you get justice.

I was inticed to join level 2 of Coastal Vacations with the promise of a Dell laptop computer and a Camcorder. I paid my $3995 to Jay Napier via a wire transfer, he received said monies and sent me my start up kit. I also received some advertising information he said he would include. It has been almost a year and I still have not received my Dell Laptop or camcorder, even after repeated attempt of contact. I am now filing official complaints with the TN attorney generals office, and the BBB. Hopefully this will prompt action and I will received promised goods. I do have proof of the website advertising this deal, and took several screen shots of it before placing my order.

If you bought a bad jug of milk would you stop buying milk? Obviously you saw the value in Coastal package before you called Mr Napier and asked him to purchase the package. Whatever happened between you and him does not, and should not reflect on Coastal Vacations. Coastal Vacations provides theone of the most comprehenceive training programs avalible, and trys to properly train all their directors before they allow them to sell. But with well over 1 million directors, it is not as easy as it would seem. As with any multi level company you will always have good ones and bad ones.
I have been a coastal director in TN for over nine years, and have provided many families with the oppurtunity to take vacations they normally could not afford. And I have helped many finance their packages, and a couple have defaulted on their payments. If you read the form provided by coastal it clearly states if you miss your payment you default on the terms and agreement.
The coastal vacation package is what you make it. It is not a travel agency!! You actually have to do some work on your part to take a vacation at up 75% off retail prices. If you don't want to do that, simply do not renew your membership and try a travel agent and pay full price. Some people are just not cut out to save money.
I have made an honest living with coastal for many years, and now get most of my business from refferals, which of course you know could not happen if I had dissatisfied cusomers. It's time peole start taking accountablity for themselves and stop blamming everyone else for their problems.
Signed Honest, Sucsessful, Coastal Director

A ver, a ver...

The rebuttals these Coastal Rep's are providing remind me of Scientologists, always on the defensive. When a business is legit and conducting itself appropriately it doesn't find itself constantly under attack, leading to scads of undeniably defensive rebuttals.
Would it not make sense when an organization is constantly under fire that something may be wrong?!? Why do people continue to invest their money into make money fast scams? Do your research, check out websites like "Rip Off Report", talk to friends, do a simple Google Search and review the results. You'll no doubt learn a thing or two about why this is a bad decision on your part.
Please don't give these scavengers your money, it will only hurt you in the long run and fuel their rotten fire!

My response to Mr. Napier is I made all of my payments =$1465.00 (Vacation Package should be $1330). I have all of my receipts from all three Cashier Checks that I sent to you.
It seems like I have spoke to and emailed two different people with split personalities.
As for the training I listened to the questioned and answer calls for 6 months altogether and I heard other callers complaining about travel companies with Coastal, taking their money then going out of business and they wanted to know how they could get their money back.
You can also purchase the package for your own traveling needs you don't have to sell to other people. I wanted to try out the vacations so that if I chose to sale the package to others then I could advise others on the best places to go to get the most from their package.
Why would I want to train with someone who has already overcharged me and been dishonest?
When I spoke to Stephanie Johnson (board of director member for Coastal). She told me to ask Mr. Napier for my money back because your Coastal Director was someone that you were going to do business with for life and there should be a good union between both of you. If I was unhappy with Mr. Napier's Business Manners it would never have a good outcome. I also wrote a letter to Coastal Vacation (N.B Management) and they never responded and I know they received it because they sent me other material that I requested on the letter.
Now you claim I didn't pay you all of your money, that's not true. It would seem to me if you never receive your balance you would have contacted me to ask for your money. I haven't heard from Mr. Napier since he sent me an email in April with a schedule of payments that didn't match what I had sent him. My Cashier Check Receipts will tell the real story.
Altogether I sent you $1465.00 and that is what I want back from you Mr. Napier.

On 2/16 Pam Frennier made a verbal agreement for a payment plan since she could not pay in full for the travel membership. Ms. Frennier was aware of the 3 payments due on the 30th and 60th days.
Ms. Frennier's travel membership was sent to her 3/22 and she had 1 final payment due on 4/21 which was never paid.
The Coastal Vacations membership comes with 3 weekly product orientation calls. Coastal works with 60+ vendors and it's important for new members to attend product training calls and open question and answer calls to become familure with the membership.
When you consider what is writen here it become obvious that the product is not at fault, the generous payment option is not at fault, but the person who made a choice not to pay the final payment and not to attend product orientation is at fault.
