Jayco RV Jayco = junk Nationwide
I purchased a new Jayco jayfeather in 2008. Almost immediately the rear plastic bumper cracked and the finish came off. I contacted Jayco and they replaced the bumper through their dealer. Within 6 months the bumper did the same thing. The cracking would start at the mounting holes and travel down the bumper.
It became so bad it was unsafe to pull down the road as it could fall off in front of traffic. I have since bought two new bumpers as replacements at about $500.00 each. Jayco refuses to acknowledge the poor engineering of their product. Building a replacement out of metal is not an option because of the shape and contour of the bumper. I will not buy another Jayco product.
