Jaycotech.com Fails To Honor Deals On E-Bay Renegs on auction, relists minutes later for higher price. McAllen Texas
On 10-11, I purchased a laptop on Ebay for $455 + $25 shipping ("same day" shipping promised in ad). I promptly made payment after winning the auction. By 10-18 I had not received the item only to check the tracking number with UPS showing that UPS had yet to pickup or receive the item. I tried contacting the vendor, and even offered him a chance to redeem himself if he shipped it to me overnight without any additional cost to me.
No replies were ever received so I filed a complaint with Pay Pal where I received a refund a few minutes later, but when I proceeded to search for another laptop on E-Bay, I discovered the identical item was reposted about five minutes from the time of my purchase. It's obvious from the fact that he relisted the item at a higher starting bid five minutes after I purchased it that he just wasn't happy with the price he got so he left me hanging while trying to sell it again for more money, instead of honoring the final auction price.
"Caveat emptor" is the motto when dealing with this E-Bay seller (jaycotech).
