I TOOK A DIAMOND RING PURCHASED AT JB ROBINSONS IN TO HAVE THE CLAWS FIXED ON THE CENTRE STONE. WHEN I BROUGHT THE RING IN THE STORE MANAGER OF JB ROBINSONS BEN,FORT GRATIOT MICHIGAN, BIRCHWOOD MALL, EXAMINED THE RING AND THE FIRST WORDS OUT OF HIS MOUTH WAS "THIS LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH" I KINDLY TOLD HIM THAT I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING TOLD THAT I TAMPERED WITH A RING, AND ALSO TOLD HIM THAT I WAS HUMILATED THAT HE WOULD EVEN SUGGEST THIS TO ME. THANK GOD I HAD MY 18 YR OLD SON WITH ME. KEEP IN MIND THE EXACT WORD S FROM THIS MANAGER WAS" HE WOULD FIGHT LIKE HELL TO GET IT REPLACED' IEXPLANINED THAT I WAS JUST SICK ABOUT IT. 3 WKS LATER I CALLED THE STORE TO FIND OUT THAT THE RING WAS STILL IN THE STORE AND HADNT BEEN SENT OUT. I SPOKE WITH AN EMPLOYEE NAMED SARAH (ALWAYS GOOD TO GET NAMES OF EMPLOYEES), WHO IN TURN PUT ME ON HOLD AND SPOKE WITH THE ASSISTANT MANAGER ,AS I WAS TOLD THAT BEN WAS OFF DUE TO A FAMILY EMERGENCY. SARAH THAN CAME BACK ON THE PHONE TO TELL ME TO RELAX AND ASSURED ME THAT THE ASSISTANT MANAGER SAID THE STONE WOULD BE REPLACED, I THEN CALLED AGAIN AND WAS TOLD BY BEN THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO HONOR THERE WARRANTY (SAYING THAT IT WAS UNUSAL WEAR THAT DAMAGED THE RING) MY GOD IF YOU CANT WEAR A RING EVERY DAY WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT DAMAGE THEN WHEN DO YOU WEAR IT
I THEN WAS GIVEN A TOLL FREE NUMBER TO CALL HEAD OFFICE, WHO THEN PUT ME ON HOLD AND CALLED BEN, THE MANAGER OF JB ROBINSONS AT BIRCHWOOD MALL, AND WHEN SHE CAME BACK ON THE PHONE TO SPEAK WITH ME NOT ONLY WAS THE WORD TAMPERED BROUGHT UP AGAIN BUT; SHE ALSO STATED THAT THIS STORE MANAGER BEN SAID I MADE A SCENE AT THE STORE. SO NOT TRUE.
FEELING MORE HUMILATED THEN EVER I DECIDED TO PULL UP JB ROBINSONS SITE TO SEE IT OTHERS HAD ANY COMPLAINTS. AND YES I FOUND COMPLAINTS. HEAD OFFICE TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO SEND THE RING OUT TO ANOTHER OFFICE AND THAT THEY WOULD DECIDE THEN. IF NOT , THEY MAY BE KIND ENOUGH TO HELP IN REDUCING THE PRICE TO HAVE THE STONE REPLACED. OMG, ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
I DONT KNOW ABOUT OTHERS , BUT; WHEN YOU WORK HARD FOR YOUR MONEY AND ARE TREATED LIKE THIS ITS LIKE A KICK IN THE HEAD. AND WORSE BEING CALLED A LIAR, AND STORE MANAGER LLYING AND SAYING I MADE A SCENE. WELL GUESS WHAT I WILL, IF THIS IS NOT RECTIFIED , I PROMISE I WILL STAND INSIDE BIRCHWOODMALL ON THE WEEK OF MOTHERS DAY AND EVERY OTHER OCCASSION WHEN PEOPLE WANT TO BUY JEWLERY FOR THERE LOVED ONES AND I WILL LET THEM KNOW THAT THERE WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING.
AND I WILL LET THEM KNOW HOW I WAS TREATED.
