I called to settle a bounced check, the letter which I received was different from the information that JBC supposedly had. I spoke with this rude and belligerent man named JACK STRINGER. I asked to speak to a supervisor or a lawyer in that office. JACK STRINGER told me that no lawyer would ever talk to me there, because I was a nobody, a nothing and a bad check writer. Just after that he hung up on me.

Last week, I gave JBC my debit card number. Within hours of doing this and investigating JBC, I realized I made a mistake. I took the following actions:
1) I called my bank and closed the debit card out.
2) Filed a police report.
3)JBC CALLED ME BACK TODAY COMPLAINING THAT THE CARD DID NOT WORK! :)
When they called me saying "Mr Wallace, the card didnt go through."
I responded with, "Yes, I know. I closed the account out. Also, my attorney told me not to speak with any of you. Have a nice day."
He responds with "Well, we'll just do what we gotta do over here."
I say "Oh, okay...well, have a good day."
End of phone call. Today I emailed the NJ state's attorney generals office about JBC.
Im also going to call the FBI.

Here's what happened...I found out AFTER I sent them the money, that the company is crap. Here's what happened and for the record...I FEEL LIKE A JACKASS. I called a lawyer after receiving my letter from JBC and the statutes listed on it were real. I freaked out and payed them late this afternoon. Well...AFTER THE FACT I did the research and discovered that I more than likely got scammed. To attempt to fix things before I lose $899, I closed my Visa Check card(I called the bank...as of 7pm cst there were no pending charges by JBC or for $899 to my account) closing the card will prevent any further charges made to it and they are issuing a new card to me. AS LONG AS THEY DIDNT PUT MY VISA CHACKCARD NUMBER THROUGH BEFORE I CLOSED THE CARD OUT....THEY CANNOT COLLECT THOSE FUNDS!~~~HOWEVER~~~there is a small chance that they couldve done it already and it just didnt go through yet. NEXT, I went to the Berwyn Police station and filed a report. Those people are bunch of f@#king scam artists...THEY WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO PAY! I freaked out because I just got out of debt and I figured $899 was a small price to pay to stay out of court and out of debt. Hopefully, they wont be able to collect the funds and when they send me another letter or call me, anyone reading this could probably imagine what Im gonna tell them. OH...by the way...the original amount owed to them was $278.48 I hope that anyone reading this will heed all the warnings of the other folks out there who have been ripped off or been contacted by JBC.
