I ordered 2 motorbikes with expressatvs.com who proudly display the ?authorized dealer? emblem. JC, the salesperson to whom I spoke
had no problem selling me the 2 bikes and
shipping them to Canada. However, when he mentioned that shipping costs with UPS would
amount to $662.65, my husband and I decided
that we would rather pick them up in Seattle,
WA for $250.00.

We made special arrangements
to have them dropped off with friends. They
called us 5 days later to say they had
arrived. We drove down from Vancouver and
were in complete shock when we saw the state
of the boxes. The steel frames were bent, the
cardboard boxes dented. My husband took
photos of everthing. Every single plastic
moulding was cracked or broken off. There
were unidentifiable pieces scattered all
the bikes.

We decided not to take them with us
and as soon as we got back to Vancouver
contacted JC and informed him of the
disaster. As we only had a cursory look at them (Canadian authorities have special
rules regarding importing these types of
bikes)we could not imagine that there
could be even more damage! We only discovered
that the following weekend when drove
to Seattle again - 4 hours by car).

JC now was absolutely adament that it is
Express ATVS company policy that they do
not send anything to Canada. He immediately
blamed the shipping company
for everything (I made inquiries
with them, and they had
absolutely nothing to do
with the state of the shipment. They have
gone out of their way to help us.)
JC, on the other hand was totally
obnoxious however eventually
agreed to send the few parts we had identified, but only to Seattle.

When they arrived by FEDEX in Seattle the following weekend, the box they came in
was very well packaged, yet solid plastic pieces which supposedly were part of the speed sensor were wrapped up in torn and dirty bubble wrap containing parts that
due to color, shape and material could
not possibly have come from the same
component. The replacement cover for the
gas tank had a chip broken off it and
was in worse condition than the smashed up
original one.

I have sent countless emails(Excerpts incl)
requesting a response. My e-mails
are received as I have activated the
tracking device. There has been no answer!
I have ALL the correspondence and photos.

After a bit of research on the net, I
discovered that there are at least
4 other companies at that address with the same phone and fax.(ExpressATVS.com; expresscyclone.com; expressautoshop.com; expressautorim.com; expressnotebook.com)Each website links to the other one.I have sent the e-mails to each of them but have had no luck.

My Visa card was debited promptly and the
money transferred to their bank with the
following details:
Beneficiary name: Express Notebook
Corporation;address as above.
Their Account# 3100282824
Receiving Bank: Cathay Bank, 1195 South
Diamond Blvd, Diamond Bar, CA91765

We are totally disgusted and are sitting
here in Vancouver with bikes we cannot
ride, out of pocket and frustrated beyond
comprehension. My e-mails certainly
reflect that.

Thank you for the opportunity to warn
other Chopper Enthusiasts "Don't even
consider Express ATVS - THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF!

Part of e-mail to ExpressATVS:

"The following items are damaged and broken beyond repair and need complete replacement:

1. 1x complete fuel tank (2 puncture holes caused by the handlebar stems puncturing the bottom of the tank. There is no collar for the gas cap to screw onto and there is no cap either.)
2. 1x yellow tank cover (deep scratch on replacement tank that was sent to replace the original tank that was crushed).
3. 1x speed sensor for front axle (component is crushed and broken up into countless pieces).
4. 1x headlight (chrome has been stripped and scarred as if dragged along ground; Inside is broken and rattling indicating that it is completely smashed and therefore useless and beyond repair)
5. Three (3) of the four (4) handlebar grips inscribed ?live to Ride and Ride to live? are seriously damaged and cracked and need to be replaced. I require one (1) left and one (1) right set for one bike and One (1) left handlebar grip for the other bike.
6. 1x rear brake return spring needs replacing (stretched to 3 times its original length and therefore unusable).

Missing Components (8)
1. 4x bolts required to attach front fender of one bike
. 1x Complete Toolkit (only one was enclosed)
3. 2x front axle nuts
4. 1x shifter lever extension ? knurled aluminum
5. 1x brake lever extension - knurled aluminum
6. All nuts and bolts required for shifter and brake lever extension as listed in #4
& #5.
