JC Penney Jewelry Dept. Used lifetime warranty to repair chain. they scrapped my expensive chain & sent cheap replacement. San Antonio Texas

I purchased a 30" singapore chain in Tullahoma, Tn after my mother died so I could wear her diamond pendant with out fear of the chain breaking. I also purchased the lifetime warranty. I moved back to Texas. When I broke my chain, I took the chain to JC Penney store# 2311 in San Antonio. They looked up my warranty on the computer & sent my chain for repair.

When I returned to get my chain they had substituted a cheap chain for my singapore chain. I was told that my chain had been scrapped & this cheap chain-link chain was the replacement. I refused to accept that chain & asked why no one had checked with me to see if I wanted my chain back since the chain they sent did not even compare to the chain I sent for repair. I could have scrapped that necklace & had enough to buy a comparable chain.

I have received the runaround from one person to the next. All I hear is "I just received this problem & I need to research it". I'm getting no answers & I'm getting fed up. I'm going to picket the store if they don't give me my chain or a comparable one. I've spoken to the corporate office & I will continue to call corporate until something is done!
