I was on craigslist the other day when i came upon a pole barn add that got my attention, the buisiness name was jcpolebarns, 3 years ago i hired a guy by the name of james carver to buid me a barn, i had to pay a $500 deposit up front which i had no problem doing, when the materials got delivered i had to pay another 75% then i find out it was not the right materials that he was advertising, he tells me it will take around 6 weeks to get the correct materials in and i say thats fine, after the time limit goes by and several of unreturned phone calls later james carver informs me he will not be back to do my barn, beware of this person.
3 years ago and the other day i seen a company on craigslist by that name and when i had my friend to call the number it is the same guy i delt with, he has changed the company name and phone number but the address is still the same beware. franklin Kentucky

Matthew Dillman did pay $500 deposit at the time my vendor required and then you have to pay for materials when they are delivered and once again Matthew did. Myself and crew started the building hit rock jackhammered at a cost of$25 per hole which is stated in the contract that was signed (Matthew Dillman never paid by the way) worked 3 days paid 3 guys got the building ready to install the trusses. (trusses was there for 6 days) Matthew Dillman calls me Saturday morning to inform me he wanted different trusses (after looking at these for 6 days) I respond you will have to speak with my partner I had at the time. They speak come to a agreement and trusses was ordered to make him happy. Matthew Dillman calls a few weeks later being very rude wanting to know when I am coming back to finish his building. I respond as soon as the trusses come in and get delivered I will be there. He replies that he has already paid me for the building and that I need to come finish. I respond that you have paid for materials, delivery, and my partner I do not get paid till the building is complete. He comes back saying that he has already paid for the building and will not be paying anymore money. I come back with you still owe for construction of the building and if you are refusing to pay me I will not be coming back to build your building for nothing. He insist that he has paid already (nevermind the contract he signed telling the payment breakdowns) and that he will not pay anymore money. I then invoice him for the 3 days that myself and crew had worked on his building including jack hammering nothing at all. So Matthew Dillman took myself for 3 days work and I had to pay my crew out of pocket because Matthew Dillman would not honor his contract considering that Matthew Dillman is a business owner he would have more character and decensy and honor his contract which states very specific how things are done. Ive been in business for 15 years built over 1000 buildings in 21 different states have many references for anyone to contact. Matthew Dillman refused to honor a contract which he signed refused to pay and stiffed me out of 3 days of work is why myself and crew did not finish his building.
