This started almost a month ago when we were looking for windshields for our two motorcycles.  Found ones on jcwhitney.com for under $35 a piece which included the hardware kits. The ones he was looking at said windshield, gave the dimensions and said what was included in the hardware kits.  Sounded really good, so my husband told me to look over the web page and make sure what we were getting.  Great we thought, we will have windshields for this riding season.

When the package arrived all that was inside was the hardware kits.  Husband called and was told that the windshields were NOT part of the order.  He clicked back into the order from the email and they had removed the page from the site.  So now we couldn't go back and read them what on it.  After some argument about what we actually ordered the CSR stated that they would be sent out.

The delivery date on this came and went...no windshields, no email communication, no contact on JC Whitney's part at all saying there was any issue.  So again my husband called in.  This time the CSR told him that the first CSR didn't do their job right.  They, too, said that we only ordered hardware.  Funny thing is at this time you could buy the exact hardware kit they sent us for $10 each.  HUH!!! They can't seem to comprehend why that makes no sense.  Why would we have paid $25 extra for each one? 

The CSR "talked to a supervisor" that authorized them to send the windshields to us.  Now understand, this same conversation happened 3 different times.  Each time my husband called in he asked to speak to a supervisor and each time he was told they were unavailable. 

This last call, just tonight, resulted in him finally speaking with a supervisor "Ephan" who told him that there were no notes stating anything that he was told previously, only that he called in.  Also told him that they WOULD NOT be sending the windshields that we ordered and that they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for errors that are on the website.  So he told "Ephan" that we wanted a refund for the order.  "Ephan" said that they would email a return label.  Which they finally did, after yet another call that I made.   After having to repeat myself 3 times to the CSR that I wanted to speak with "Ephan".  When "Ephan" got on the phone I stated that we needed a return shipping label because we WERE NOT going to pay to ship back their product.  "Ephan" stated that it would arrive in email in 15 minutes.  I promised "Ephan" that if it did not, I would be calling back in 20 minutes and that I would be wanting to speak with "Ephan" supervisor.

The one and only thing JC Whitney did right was we got that shipping label within 15 minutes... guess "Ephan" didn't want to deal with me again.

One more note... if you go onto jcwhitney.com and try to do a search for windshield, nothing comes up.  When you go into the motorcycle section and look at listings for windshields, you will find pictures of them and ones that say "windshield" but when you click into the page you will find that the windshield is not a windshield, but only a hardware kit.  If you chance dealing with this company, be VERY careful!
