Complaint Review: JCOR Construction Group

Karl and Joe Indivero have been around the  Construction Industry for a long  time taking and  giving bribes for "Pay to Play" and  when you don't play by their rules you are dismissed and screwed by them.   A business associate told me of this site and I  am glad there  is a way to bring to light what they are doing.   I was a sub-contractor on a project they were involved in and  when I would not  agree to kicking back a percentage of my change orders to them they discredited the  work we did and would not get us paid.    The scam goes like this-  We would be asked to do additional  work outside  the scope of our contract creating what are called Change Orders.   We would submit our cost to either of the brothers and then told by both Karl and or Joe how much we were to add on top of it that was to be kicked back to them.   Doing this would  ensure our CO's were approved and also paid on time.  Once we were paid we were to kick back to the Indivero bro's their demanded or extorted amount.  When we refused to increase our CO's at their demand we were told we would have to forfeit part of our "correct" CO amount to them in order to not only get them approved and get paid for the  work we did but to also hope to do work for them in the future.   Speaking to other trades on the site that have worked under the Indivero Bro's in the past, I found out that this is a common practice of theirs.
