I purchased my 2000 Ponitac Grand Prix in June of 09', it rain pretty good until July when it stalled and left me stranded w/no way to work. Since then JD BYrider has had my vehicle at least 15 times, for various things intake, froze hydrocolliod cylinders whatever that is, all 4 busted motor mounts, etc etc u name it they have seen my car for it! I have missed numerous days work and eventually lost my job! Last month my tranny stats slippin, so I quit driving it had a rental for 2 weeks cus I needed to find a job. I took my car to an outside auto repair because I felt that the service department was not fulfiling their end. The say all the struts, shocks are gone, all the motor mounts are busted, the air intake sys has a leak, the fuel sys has a leak, the fuel pump, filter, alternator, r&r pulley, serpentine belts, etc all need to be replaced for a grand total of 2509.89 I went to the supposed manager he didn"t hardly look at the repair order he sttd those are req maint that we do not cover! Long story short they had my car 3 days, and now today guess what same problem is back! Its a long process, they don't tellu how much u need to put down til the end no how many times u ask, the car is 4,000 more than the KB price its really a shame for people who need a car, their jobs and their $$$ So what r we to do?

I purchased a car from JD Byrider's in 2008, within about six months after having the car it started breaking down. There was oil in my radiator the head gasket had blown, the thermostat was bad and the check engine light was on and the car was giving an emissions code when I had it checked at Autozone. I brought my car in to get it fixed, they replaced the head gasket and the thermostat and sent my car off to Midas to replace the catalytic convertor. It took them nine days to fix my car as a result I had the expense of a rental car plus $400.00 for the convertor. Within a couple of weeks the check engine light came back on again and again I had the car cheked at Autozone and my car was showing an emissions code again. I took my car back again which left me without transportation again. They sent my car back to Midas and they supposedllyl put another converter on and changed a sensor. I picked my car up and by the next day the check engine light was back on again. I was very fustrated at that point I called them again and their mechanic told me that I would have to drive it for a while before the light would go out because it had to burn off the emissions My question is if the convertor was changed again why would I have to drive it to burn off any emissions. At the time of all this was going on I was working fulltime job and going to college fulltime I was putting in 70 hours a week. I couldn't afford to be with out a car and I couln't afford another rental car. A year later the car check enging light is still on and It's sill giving an emissions code. Even though they never fixed my car right they are now telling me to fix it again I will have to pay.

I also have a complaint about GNAC a few times not sure how many times they have got account mixed up with another cutomer who has the same last mame as mine. They've used the other person's credit card to make my payment then they have to straighten it out. Now because of their incompetant employees the have note on my accouont that I have a late payment which has cost me more interest they didn't put in there notes that they are the one that messed up my account and made my payment late. My paycheck is direct deposited into my checking account so I have my payment autmattically deducted from my cheking account. One day I checked my balance and It showed my payment had been deducted from my accont,  and the next day it showed that my payment hadn't been paid. I would like to find out how many times they have mixed my account up with the other person. Is there anyone one that can help me with these consumer problems? Is there a class action suit against JD Byrider and GNAC?
