JD Byrider - Cnac ripoff dishonest value of my SUV and my balance still owed no suv anymore? Madison Indiana
I purchased a ford explorer from jd byryder in madison indiana. I needed a vehicle very badly, this paticular suv had 130,000 miles when I bought it. I paid 6995.99 in addition to that a purchased the ext. warr for 1500.00. I paid 300.00 a month payment for a entire year that is 3600.00 worth of payments.Also when I bought it I traded a car as a down payment and recieved 1000.00 for it towards the suv.
My problem is this: cnac has repossesed the vehicle after one year of payment faithfully.cnac sent a letter to me statiing that they recieved 1500.00 for it in a public aution.CNAC now wants to collect 8300.00 from me! I have honestly gave CNAC a total of 6100.00 dollars on this suv!!!! I paid 6995.99 so I feel I don't owe them 8300.00. Not to mention the truck because of the miles on it you have to make a 2000.00 deduction from the book value due to its miles!!!!!!! the ford explorer I purchased was not even worth what they were asking.
Everyone with these problems lets all work together and get this lemon car company to help us with our problems that they have inflicted on us as a consumer!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Robert, you need to file a complaint with the IN Atty. General. Just look at what happened in KY- a $7.4 Million settlement against JD Byrider. It all started with individual consumer complaints with the Atty. General in your state. Every complaint counts! Good Luck!
