Complaint Review: JD Reservations

JD Reservations Purchased a fraudulent vacation package..the agency dodges my calls and emails. Orlando Florida

I purchased a vacation package for a great deal of $300 months ago. I've contacted the travel agents about 2 months ago now to confirm my reservation. They assured me everything was good to go and to wait for a confirmation call within 72 hrs. A week passed and call nor email. I called several times a day for the next week until finally getting an answer. They made me change my traveling dates and once again assured me that with those changes I would be on my way to Punta Cana in D.R.

I waited and waited weeks after weeks but no confirmation. It's now been almost  2 months since my intial reservation call, they've made me change the dates a total of 3 times and to top it off, they do not pick up my calls or reply to my emails.

First of all thank you for your business. I am very sorry about the inconvenience and misunderstanding. How our reservation process works is the following: because we are not the resort we are a travel agency we have to request the dates you requested to the resort and we have to wait for their confirmation or denial of the dates. Normally if is a USA destination they reply within the next 48 hours with a confirmation or a denial. In your case is an international destination and normally takes 1 to 2 weeks for the confirmation. Thats why when a customer buy one of our packages with 18 months to call us and reserve we advice clients to call us with at least 30 days in advance of the travel date for USA destinations and at least 3 months in advance for internatinal destinations.

 

Probably in your case, you did not call with sufficient time in advance or in a very busy season that the resort took longer to get back to us and once again sorry. Almost 100% of our reservations request gets approved for the date requested, sorry that it did not happend with your resevation. Hopefully you were able to vacation and we were able to find the dates for you. If your calls were not answered it must be that you were calling during non business hours or during the weekend. Our hours of operations are Monday Thru Friday 10 am to 7pm. I am pretty sure we were able to fuflfill your reservation if not please contact our management team at 1 866 821 1738 to see how we could make it better to you.
