Complaint Review: CarNow Acceptance Company

I purchased a car from JD Byrider (CarNow Acceptance Company) in April 2002. A 1997 Chevy Lumina. The vehicle had 102750. I had the maintainance for the vehicle done regularly.

In Jan 2003 the car broke down and had engine problems. I had the vehicle less than a year and it needed a new engine almost immediately. I returned the vehicle to the dealership to see if it could be repaired by their service department. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the engine and I could continue to drive the vehicle. WRONG! The car stopped running entirely. I was without a vehicle for 3 months.

CNAC finance refused to help in anyway to even to get the car fixed and add the amount of the repair to my loan. Citing they couldn't do that. So in turn I returned the vehicle. Only to have them continue to harrass me about payment for the vehicle with was taken care of with the aid of attorneys.
