I feel I am compelled to warn all aspiring musicians of my experience with Jeff Blue and his company Rock Shop Music Group. He will try to convince you that you are a talented musician and that he can take you to the next level in your music career. He will throw out his many connections and past accomlishments with other artists (Macy Gray, Linkin Park, etc) and his ability to get you infront of record labels and the big A&R guys in the industry. He will make promises that never materialize. After he receives your many thousands of dollars and gives you the demos he may stay in contact with you for a month or two to keep your hopes up but then gradually reosrt to "I'm wating to hear back from this record label or I sent your songs to this A&R guy and will be in touch as soon as hear something". Months go buy and he will fade out of your life and move onto the next victim. I'm not the only victim, I've talked with other musicians who have been duped and lied to by Mr. Bue. He will charge you for tracks performed by other musicians and tell you that you own them, he will use songs from other writers without their knowledge and tell you that you have permission to use them. If you are just getting started in the music business or unfamiliar with your rights as a musician you need to be aware that Jeff Blue can take advantage of your inexperience and charge you many thousands of dollars for songs that can be recorded elsewere for half the price and walk away knowing that you own the tracks and masters. The one positive thing I learned from Mr. Blue is that it's vital to do your homework and research as there are many unscrupulous sharks swimming around in the music indsutry ocean.

Scam 'Art' is the only type of art this guy is an expert in. As far as production? What a laugh. Just go listen to any of his work. It's mediocre at best. He never had talent so he was always the guy 'behind' the talent. Just go listen to what he has done music wise. Forget all the famous acts, linken park, hoobstank. All those bands and acts have serious writers. How many producers alone are in linken park? 4....5.... ? The incredible ability to play write and produce to a world class standard. He may have helped them get in the door somewhere but thats it. Now he goes on like he had some sort of part in the creative process and without him they'ed be nowhere. I mean come on...seriously? He tried to charge me over 600$ for an hour long skype call. No Kidding. So I did the math... Lets average this out; Lets say Jeff works an average of 40 hours a week Thats 40 x 600= 24,000 a week Thats 4 x 26000= 96,000 a month And thats 12 x 96,000 =1,152,000$ a year! HAHAHAHAHA I mean its laughable. If so many people weren't being ripped off I would be rolling around the floor laughing. He thinks he's worth nearly 1.2 million a year? And you know what, maybe he is. Buts its not cause hes an expert producer, mixer, musician, songwriter who works exclusively with a small few top teir bands, its because he 'works' with hundreds of nobodys and rips them off for every penny. But you know what guys, all I can say is this. There's only one way you can beat a guy like this. And thats by becoming better than him in every aspect of what you do. Beat him with your success. Its only a matter of time before someone who has a bad experience with this guy goes on to become a huge success and outs him. And trust me Mr Blue if your listening, that day is coming soon....
