Jeff Packer - J Packer Webmasters Web Design Company rips off clients Marietta Georgia
Paid $1200 for design of website. Jeff Packer never delivered site to me for offline storage and saving. Nickel and dime'd for things already paid for, such as request for copy of logo. I purchased service with agreement that I owned finished product, logo, image files, etc. Now, I have requested copy of site to move to another host, says he doesn't have it, though it is on his site as part of portfolio. Also requested copy of contract twice with no response. Next step, file suit in small claims court.

This is interesting, because we have fresh experience with Mr. Jeff Packer. You see, we entered into an agreement with him in October of 2015, to procure and have manufactured a shipping container home. After sending Mr. Packer $18,000 as a down payment, and many, many bungled drawings, incorrect building plans, and the inability of Mr. Packer to coordinate architects licensed in Florida, and really to even manage the project, we fired him and asked for a refund. Mr. Packer declined to return our money and admitted to spending it!! Now we are headed to Civil Court in Atlanta. It is now Sept. 2016.
Please, People, DO NOT give Jeffory, Jeffery, Jeff, Jay Oneal Packer {these are the various names he uses} any money!!
He has done this to others. He has been interviewed by the Cobb County Sheriff and FBI to make restitution to another person who ordered a container shelter from him. He owes another individual $6000 for the same kind of thing.
DO NOT HIRE HIM FOR ANY REASON!!!

I have posted and update (rip off report) stating that the info was erroneous based on dishonesty of business partner. I never should have listened to (my ex husband) him and I am sorry(webmastr). It is hard to believe someone (ex-husband) you love could just continue to lie to you. I should have trusted you (webmaster). You have been good to me. There is no way to make up for it,

This story reads more like a romance novel than a website design project. We'll make this simple:
Wife and Husband go into business together. Wife and husband design a website. Webmaster is paid for the site and the site goes live for nearly two years without one complaint. In fact Wife refers Webmaster to one of his biggest customers, a customer he still has.
Husband and wife split.
Husband contacts webmaster to have hosting and website files switched to another service provider.
Webmasters turns over all of the files to the Husband. 30 days later the Wife calls to to inform Webmaster that Wife and Husband are no longer together and wants to know what has happened to "Wifes" website. Webmaster informs wife that her Husband requested all the files to be given to him.
Webmaster has know way of knowing that the Husband was highjacking the website. When the webmaster refused to become involved in the domestic back and forth. Wife requests that webmaster give her a copy of the website files Webmaster explains that he does not have a copy because he turned the files over the husband. Wife becomes upset at Webmaster.
Webmaster agrees to create another site for Wife for $800.00 (dirt cheap)........
Wife does'nt want to pay. Webmaster will not work for free. Wife strikes out by filing a false report.....Wife feels bad about having done so and sends the above email on the very same day, apologizing for her studpidity in filing a baseless report.
Morale of the Story: Being a webmaster sometimes involves people in the middle of nasty divorces.
