Complaint Review: Jeff Ramos aka Jeffrey S. Ramos Lic # 0F12684 of Rancho Mission Viejo

People please be aware of this scam going around in OC and LA area by this individual Jeff Ramos of Rancho Mission Viejo and Reichl Caragao AKA Rich Caragao from Coto de Caza and Verde Wheels Company to modify the stolen vehicles to make them more appealing to their victims.  Rich Caragao has been scamming people for the past 10 years. This is how he operates his big scam: He has focused on people wanting to get out of their lease or purchase contract to take over their luxury or exotic vehicle payments.

He will make a few payments to the owner and then he will stop making payments and end up keeping the cars, He will then rent or sell your vehicle as rent to own charging large amounts for down payment and monthly payment and keeping all the money. He typically advertises in craiglist making it very appealing to the public stating no credit no problem, approval guaranteed.

He also advertises on Instagram and Facebook using the name Traction Motorsports, CarsNchronos1 and takeoverpayment1 where again, he makes it so appealing to victims no credit no problem. He will sell you the car as a rent to own and ask for a large down payment and allow you to make a few payments before he takes the car away from you for no reason and then start all over again with another victim and so on.

Currently there are several cases against this individual Rich Caragao for fraud but unfortunately, he has been doing this for so long that he knows victims don’t have the money to hire an attorney as this will be a civil matter that will take a long period in order for the court to convict him. Victims have ruined their credit as their cars are never recovered and this con artist will try to intimidate you with his crooked attorney Renee as she is part of this scam.  Even more scary is the fact that Jeff Ramos works as a VP of Cuna Mutual Group with CA License number 0F12684 providing financial advice to clients.   

Rich Caragao will present you with a fake contract already signed by the car owner stating that the owner can no longer afford the payment and wants to sell the car. He will also not allow you to verify with the car owner and will tell you that he represents the owner which is a lie.

He is also committing credit card fraud by sending a massive text message to random people welcoming them to his exotic car program where he promises, in exchange for a monthly fee, to allow you to drive any exotic or luxury car. You will have to provide your credit card information first in order to be part of his club. Once he gets your credit information, you will no longer be able to get a hold of him and he will start charging the credit card. This is a very common scam.

The OC District Attorney is currently investigating this case to put a stop to this con artist on defrauding more victims and alerting the public of such scam.
