Complaint Review: Jeffeoey Scott - DS/Max

This company tried to recruit me by offering a position of inventory manager on a salery of 25 - 50 thousand dollars per year. On 4-28-03 they replied to my resume and I landed a interview that lasted 5 minutes. At the end of the day I has one of say, eight people they where interested in.

The following day the same people and I where sent on a day of observation that consisted of walking door to door, bussiness to bussiness selling products such as knives and plush spiderman toys and crayola sand kits. This is not what I applied for and the pay was a bait and switch the workers only get paid if the sell their quota (this is not the definition of a salery)Next I was to take a 20 question test talking about the law of averages, whay rehashing is and the whys and hows of the company. workers where to come in at 7:00am for a power meeting then work from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and the attend another meeting from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to see who makes there "Bell".

There are proposing that one could make it to a owner position within 6 months but some work for years and never advanced past training and door to door sales. This whole experience was a waste of time I could easily see upon reflecting on the whole day that this company could care less about their unethical practices. enough said, this company and all it's aliases are deceptive and shadey. I was hired and I rejected the offer to work their. this is my view, i just want to throw caution into the wind.

lesson learned: don't blindly send out resumes with out fully researching the company first.
