I thought i sold a horse on the internet yes stupid idea now.  He sent me to much money but said that he intended that go to the mover that was to pick up his horse a man in Yuba city Ronald Brown.

Well I was dumb enough to send Mr. Brown money via western union.  My emails I received where what I thought was from paypal.  I waited for the transfer of funds to my account and they didnt come so I called paypal they had no knowledge of money pending the payment or sending me emails.

After talking to a paypal rep. and forwarding the false paypal emails they helped me out and then I contacted Jeffery Peterson the buyer.  He swore up and down paymant was going to be in my paypal account yea right well they or he got me for 850 dollars.  Long story short I called the Yuba City police gave them all the info I had including the address.  Merry Christmas.  That money is gone and I still have a horse to sale.

this is a common scam, it always involves sending someone a bum check and requiring you to western union the difference back.

alot of times it involves a "shipper" or another 3rd person who will receive the money.

the people's names are not even real, they are made up and you probably sent the WU payment to...let me guess Cameroon, Nigeria or Canada?

put your horse on Craigs list and see how many people will come to you and try the same stuff, it is rampant and well known.

Read the internet, do a search for common scams.
