Complaint Review: Jeffrey F. Sklan

When I wrote that comment my divorce case was still in process. What I should of done is waited until it was finalized. I have first hand knowledge that the man is a lier and a crook. He writes a comment on how the people writing complaints are liers don't leave their names. My name is Joe Alamo Jr you handles my divorce. My ex wife would make these false claims and he would do nothing. It was like her attorney and he were the best of friends. He was either unqualified to handle her attorney or was scared of her attorney. I had a blocked account in which he and her attorney found a way to drain the account and pay themselfs from the account. He finalized the divorce even though I disagreed on the stipulation in the judgement. The final judgement does not even have my signature it was signed for me  by the judge because I refused to. In his own invoice it shows he was over payed $20,000.00 (the money he stole from the blocked account) yet refuses to return it. I filed a complaint with the Bar Association that was a joke. The Bar is there to help the attorneys not their clients. It run by attorneys. What I wrote earlier was a mistake I should of waited until my divorce was finalized to see his true colors. Every comment that he has received is true except for the one I wrote earlier. Like I said he's a lier and be careful if you hire him. I advice never hire him and I hope he never get hired. I am not afraid to leave my name it is Joe Alamo Jr there nothing he can do because what I am stating is fact and true. Hope yoou never get a chance to rip clients off again.Heres the final judgement  I covered the judges name. Like I said I refused to sign 

I hired 3 attorneys and all they did was rip me off. It was different when I hired Jeffrey Sklan. Once Mr Sklan took my 2 case (Divorce and Criminal) it was obvious all he and his assistant cared was that my rights weren't violated. I am permanently permanently disabled a i didn't have a lot of money but that did become an issue. The other the other 3 attorneys I hired quit on me because of my money situation.

These reports that couple of people have written about Mr Sklan not knowing his job. These people are full of crap. There are two sides to every story and if these people, who are adults should know that just because things don't go your way that doesn't give anyone  any reason to bad mouth and falsely accuse them of not knowing what their job is and having a substance abuse problem. With the other 3 attorneys i had I was arrest 6 time on my ex-wife false accusations. They were later dropped. I am still in my divorce case and my ex-wife has still made more false accusations but with Mr Sklan and his assistant representing me I have not been questioned or arrested for any of my wife's new false accusations.

These people are just bitter and need to get over it. I could easily write negative things about my 3 prior attorneys but I don't. So all I have to say is Mr Sklan is a excellent, knowledgable and cares about his clients.My case is not over and and whatever the outcome will be, I am sure Mr Sklan will do his best.

I hired this moron for a real simple civil matter. I was on an MTA bus being driven by a highly drunk drive who slammed into Dodger Stadium injuring everyone on board. MTA offered me $11,700,000 to settle the case. Sklan refused and demanded we take it to trial. He told me he was watching Judge Joe Brown on TV and he had a good plan to win even more money. At the trial he folded like a cheap suit. The judge said he didn't even have to leave the bench to rule against me. Dumbstruck at the fact that out of 150 plaintiffs in the accident, I was the ONLY one who lost. There were 3 Armenians who admitted they weren't even IN the accident and the judge gave them $15,000 each just for making up a good story. I wouldn't hire Jeff Sklan to mow my lawn, even if he offered to do it for free.

Why didn't you mention the sanctions against you from the State Bar? HUH? COme on - Tell Us - WHY WERE YOUR SANCTIONED?

I happen to be a victim of one of your criminal clients. You and your client LIED to the DA and to the world regarding what happened.

You are a SLEAZE BALL and my question to YOU is -

"Do you encourage your clients to commit PERJURY or just look the other way?"

We would like to know if you are an officer of the court or a man who is not fit to have a law license.

I am a practicing attorney and have been continuously licensed by The California State Bar since 1979. Our offices provide low cost services to working class families.

The individual(s) posting these "reports" have failed to disclose their names, leading us to believe that they were on the opposite side of litigated matters.

And as to the authors of these false claims, please just accept the Court's rulings against you and get on with your lives.

My wife and I happened to be at a California State Bar dinner at Morton's in Beverly Hills. We were seated with a man named Jeffrey Sklan and some woman who looked like a man sitting with him. During the main course, he tapped his spoon on a water glass and announced, "Hey people look at this" - After getting everyone's attention, he he took out a cigarette lighter, lit it, lifted his leg and passed gas - Igniting a fart. I swear the blue flame must have extended a good 3 to 4 feet and lasted 20 seconds. After that display of crude behavior, good old Jeff Sklan giggled like a little kid and challenged anyone in the room to do better.

He was prompty escorted out of the restaurant by the Beverly Hills Police.

I was in the Downey Court the other day when this lawyer named Sklan was before the judge trying to get some crook released back onto the streets so they could rob some poor law abiding citizen. Well we were all in the court room and Jeffrey Sklan let loose the most disgusting fart in the history of farts. It was NASTY! It was so bad that it set off the smoke alarms and the entire court house had to be evacuated and then fumigated. Did he say he was sorry? Hell no. He told everyone to come back on monday for an encore. The sheriff told him if he did it again he would be arrested for violating section 370 of the california penal code. Sklan just smirked and told the deputy, "I dare you"

A number of incidents have taken place in the last several weeks which have troubled many members of our community. The key point of the following exposition is that Mr. Jeffrey Sklan, already oppressive with his untruthful squibs, will perhaps be the ultimate exterminator of our human speciesif separate species we befor his reserve of un-guessed horrors could never be borne by mortal brains if loosed upon the world. If you think that that's a frightening thought then consider that Sklan likes saying that a plausible excuse is a satisfactory substitute for performance. Okay, that's a parodybut not a very gross one. In point of fact, Fernandez keeps saying that granting him complete control over our lives is as important as breathing air. Isn't that claim getting a little shopworn? I mean, in a tacit concession of defeat, he is now openly calling for the abridgment of various freedoms to accomplish coercively what his headlong causeries have failed at. Let me close where I began: The odds are more than ten to one that Mr. Jeffrey Sklan's admirers always show a streak of cruelty that enables them to find pleasure in their destructiveness.
