Jennifer Convertibles has been the subject of news stories on the likes of CNN and The Today Show for the defective leather couches they have sold thousands of. We bought ours in 2005.

The problem is that they advertise the couches as "leather," but they are bonded leather. Within the last few years, thousands of these couches have begun peeling. Ours have as well. They are unusable, despite costing a thousand dollars for three couches.

After dozens of phone calls, I finally thought I was getting somewhere. A woman named "Theresa" sent me an email saying that Jennifer Leather would replace the seats, arms, and backs of the couches. It would take 4-20 weeks, but once the parts were in, a Jennifer Leather repairman would come out and make the repairs.

But TODAY, two days before Christmas, I received a phone call from an aggressive, obnoxious woman from Jennifer Convertibles who told me that she "couldn't replace everything," as if I was asking a lot, "just the backs and sides."

It's the seats that have the biggest problem!! And now they won't replace those.

She then did something that really infuriated me: she tried to blame it on me, saying we must have done something wrong with the couches for them to peel. This is a classic shirking of responsibility by blaming the customer.

For a year, the original salesmen pretended that there was nothing wrong with the couches and that I must be crazy or something. Finally, he couldn't pretend that anymore when the story made world headlines.

Thousands of customers across the country, and probably the world, are complaining about the same thing, Jennifer Leather Convertibles.

You sold a defective product, then agreed to fix it, and then went back on your word.

What is wrong with you? Who would buy from you now?

You should be ashamed of yourselves, Jennifer Convertibles.

And Merry Christmas to you.
