How can a company like Jennifer Convertibles stay in business?

After a cancelled order when both attempts to deliver the order resulted in damaged goods, a full refund was promised in writing ON the original sales slip, signed by the manager.

Advised to expect the full refund in "7-10 business days" by the manager in writing, it is now two entire months with nothing at all. A dozen phone calls to the NH store, its Boston main store, and 6 emails to customer service have gotten a big zero: no reply other than the same exact boilerplate word for word email from "customer service", no refund, no nothing.

This operation is a throw back to days before consumer activists. They have absolutely no intention to refund the money until a lawsuit is started. So, let's roll.
