Jenny Lee paid me a gift card for ebay action on sept 5 2008 .And file a Dispute on Oct 18 2008 to paypal stated never got the card.I did send her the card on Sept 6 2008 and email her the card and pin number on the same day.She never contact me or do a feedback.Call Paypal and they can't help me because I didn't have a tracking number.I find out she rip off a least 3 other ebay sellers with the same scam at the same week. Now she got out of Ebay all at once .She got our money and paypal helping her working the system. Is anyone out there got rip off from her?

the problem with ebay

The only problem with only dealing with buyers with a certain level of positive feed back is that as sellers you can only leave back positive feedback. Buyers can blackmail sellers. Lets just face it Ebay doesn't care about sellers even though the sellers are the ones who generate income for Ebay.

As an occasional Ebay seller myself, the only way to minimize your risk for this type of scam is to flatly state that you will block any bidder who does not have sufficient positive feedback ratings. That's especially true for items that you don't actually mail or have a tracking number for, and it's clearly noted that the seller protection program is not provided for services, intangible items, and digital goods.

Even if the seller protection is available, I will not sell high priced items to those with little or no feedback because they can still lie about the condition of the item and get a charge back.

A previous solution of not accepting Paypal or credit cards is no longer allowed by Ebay itself except for a very few exceptions.
