Complaint Review: Jenny Williams Tropicana HR Tropicana Manufacturing Tropicana Products

Jenny [Jordan] Williams is the HR Director according to her introduction to me, but I will just say HR Manager for simplicity.

Jenny is married to Kahreem Williams and he braggs about getting his wife to pull his reprimands out of his file. He defies management and leads, knowing that any reprimand he gets will get pulled by his wife in HR!

And, this guy is an ex-felon. He lost his job due to incarceration, and after he got out, he got his job back at tropicana!

Guess what? Tropicana has a "firm" policy of no hire / no rehire of felons [unless you are married to an HR Manager]!

This is flat out unethical and illegal! This shows there is no integrity in the Tropicana HR office. Or very little anyway, as I do like a few of the HR reps that are fair minded. Very few.

I guess I need to file an employment discrimination complaint for unfair hiring practices as I sent my friend over to apply for a job and they would not even take his application due to this "firm" policy. He had a JUVENILE felony and it has been six years ago and he is off probation and his rights have been restored!

Ed Padilla at Express Personnel does the application processing for Tropicana, and I verified this policy with him.

Now, the JOBS office on Manatee Ave also does applications for Tropicana, and they told me the same thing about this policy.
