Complaint Review: Jerome Waite

Jerome Waite is the worst mistake I've ever made.

I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character, but Jerome proved me wrong.

I am a single mom with two young children, trying to get back into dating.  I joined a dating website, and Jerome contacted me.  He seemed interesting, and so we met for coffee.  He seemed funny and enjoyable at the time.  We started dating casually (or I thought it was casual).

He would call me at work or at home randomly, which I thought was cute.  He would try to connect with my children (one boy, one girl) and interact with them.

Then, he started getting weird.  He would ask me about what I was doing the previous evening, or who I had been spending time with.  He started getting a little too interested in my children as well.  He would look for reasons to stop by...or just show up unannounced at odd hours.

I decided to end it, and I wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine.  So I showed up unannounced to his apartment...and I caught him looking at pictures of NAKED CHILDREN on the internet.

I was so mad, I couldn't believe I had dated a child molester!  He tried to convince me that it wasn't what it looked like, that he had gotten a virus on his computer and that was what pulled it all up.  Even though I wanted to believe it, I didn't.  I told him we were through.

He still calls sometimes, but I don't answer it.  I'm really concerned that he may have done something to my kids while I wasn't around.  I asked them both, but they are young and didn't really understand what I asking about.
