Complaint Review: Jess Lutz

Hired Jess Lutz / NannyNow because we are in need of a full time professional nanny.  We signed Jess' contract and paid $750 upfront in February.  After 8 months we have yet to meet a professional full time nanny.  We received only 2 candidates over the course of 8 months, but neither were professional nannies.  She claimed the "nanny" had expereince but when we looked at her resume it stated she was working as a marketing professional for the family Jess said that she supposedly nannies for, wouldnt let us check references and demanded we sign a long term written nanny contract, which made me really uncomfortable since I was asked to sign the contract but not allowed to check references and had no history.  The interview was very shady.  We feel we have been scammed by paying upfront and not recieving any qualified candidates.  We were also promised on-demand help which was never received.
