Complaint Review: Jessica Joyce - Diamond Sales - World Class Circulation

This scam works the same all over the country with some minor variations. If you live in Suffolk County, Long Island, you may be interested to note that World Class Circulation headquarters is in Mt. Sinai, NY.

The way it worked for me was that a woman came to my door claiming to be Jessica Joyce who lived down the street from me. She said that she would receive class credit for community service at LIU for selling magazine subscriptions because the magazines would be donated to Schneider's Children's Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY.

In addition, monies would be provided to assist some of her fellow students to go to France to study the Impressionist painters. (She was already going to France.)

Since she told me exactly where she lived when I asked, I was able to verify that her address did not exist. I then filed a police report and will probably file with the attorney general since I did give her $39.00.

I read the other Rip-off reports and there is a similar one with a username at the bottom called Ripped_off_in Sound_beach. (Although this was a Rip-off report, it only came up through Google last night and is report #366187.) This happened Saturday, August 23 between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
