We have been with Jet Set for 1 year.  We were getting booked on a few jobs.  The last two jobs we had were print jobs from Gymboree for their holiday campagin.  We still have not received $ 1600 bucks from this job.  I have sent numerous emails and made plenty of phone calls.  No one will get back with me.  Paloma Jackson, who was their agent, has left the company.  The agent that has taken her place is Diana Chavez.  I can not get a straight answer from her either.  Do not do buisness with these people.  They are very difficult to get in touch with, no one gives you a straight answer and they do not pay you!  This money is going to my childrens college fund... how sad is it that they are ripping off children?

Please know that your comments about the owner are incorrect.  The owner of Jet Set Models is NOT Cindy Kauanui.  She left the company after her son died.  The new owner is Nick Bates, or  Nicholas Bates and he is the person you should go after.  My friends are also owed money.  I heard Nick Bates has done this to others as well.   Check out: Oliver Tile Corp.   When you call that company no one answers but it says that Nick Bates owns it.  I would recommend reporting Nick Bates to the authorities.    It is so sad to hear what happened to a once loving successful company once Nick Bates took it over.   From what I have read about Lindsay Stewart I have to agree with you about your comment, "They love 'tooting their own horn' on their website."

My suggestion "Let love and light guide your life".

We had the same experience, but I think the new owner and Diana Chavez are to blame. I would suggest that you file a complaint to the labor board. I had to do the same. Its wrong to not pay someone for work they completed and its terrible that this is happening to our kids. Paloma got back to us before she left the agency, but we were suppose to get payment from the agency and we never got any response from Diana, who is now the agent there.
