 I purchased a template from Template Monster and now I'm in a legal battle with Masterfile over a image that was sold in the template. Masterfile provided proof of ownership. Since 9/28/15 I have left voice messages, had numerous chat messages with TemplateMonster. Always received the same reply "Escalating to a manager, and a manager will contact me via email or call me back in 2 hours" I have yet to hear from a manager. When you call for TemplateMonster's Copyright/Legal department you are told to call back in 2 hours. When you call back, you receive this message "The person at extension 142 is not available" then the call terminates. Received an email from Ivy Michaelson (TemplateMonster Copyright/Legal Department) claiming they were in negotiations with Masterfile which was a LIE. No one from Masterfile has had any contact with TemplateMonster. I had to pay Masterfile a HUGE sum due to copyright infringement. This is a very condensed version of the nightmare TemplateMonster has put me in.

Mr. Navarro, Why does your company persist in stating your in contact with Masterfile? If you view ticket #JTB-659-21342 on 10/13/15 Mr. Dan Pollack, General Counsel of Masterfile Corporation, responded to an email I received from Ivy Michaelson, Copyright & Legal Template Monster on 10/12/15. The below is an excerpt from Ms. Ivy Michaelson's responses on 10/12/15: "I apologize for the late reply. The ticket remained unreplied since there is little I can tell about it for now. Your issue is still in progress since we haven't come to the agreement with the Master File company yet. I've escalated your problem to our top management & they'll carry on the negotiation process. And I'll surely keep you updated once I have any news." On receiving Ms. Michaelson's email I forwarded it to Masterfile. The below is an excerpt from Mr. Pollack's response on 10/13/15: "Please stop informing people (or implying) that Template Monster is involved in negotiations with Masterfile regarding the use of our images. As you should know, we are not involved in any discussions or negotiations with your company – any discussions that occurred were more than 5 years ago and through your counsel Richard Ross, Template Monster has consistently refused to resolve copyright infringement disputes with Masterfile. If we discover that you are continuing to make these kinds of false statements, we may need to take further action against your company." As of 11/5/2015, I received my copy of the fully-executed Agreement/Payment signed by Dan Pollack, General Counsel of Masterfile Corporation. I was informed again that NO ONE from Template Monster is in contact, negotiation, or has spoken with anyone from Masterfile on this matter. I have also informed Masterfile of your statement in your rebuttal.
