Beware of any calls or solicitations from Jewish Marketing Solutions or DAG Media.  Don't do it! I was contacted twice by a rep in Atlanta, Karin, who both times, began her conversation with "we are a referral service".  I finally agreed to meet with her and sat through an impressive two-hour presentation where I was promised immediate referrals because a new project was going in at Windward Parkway where many employees would be moving from Israel and would need agents to help them establish their residences.  Additionally, I would receive referrals from the local temples as they have "yellow pages" publications they distribute there.

I was told within the next week I would receive a package of information including a sample publication, which I never received.  I was also told it might be a few days because it was the weekend of Yom Kippur and they would be closed for several days.  I later found out they were not closed.  I believe this was told to me to keep me from using the three-day cancellation option.  It has been four months and the only thing I have to show for the $2,888.00 I paid (what a fool I was) is a listing at jewishmarketingsolutions.com, way down the line if someone does a search on their site for an Atlanta real estate agent.  I was told they were in dire need of an Atlanta Realtor, that they only had one other.  There is a long list of agents in the Atlanta area, so obviously it was an out-right lie.

When I contacted the company, after having not received any callls for two to three weeks after signing the agreement, I complained that this was not a referral service as they led me to believe, but rather an advertising company which only if someone somehow found me would I get a referral.  Needless to say, there have been no referrals.  The agreement includes a web design, , social networking, google local listing, not to mention all of the verbal promises and representations made.  I'm sick that I, being a professional who typically makes well-thought out decisions, fell for such a scam - that's all I know to call it.  A gross misrepresentation.  I've spent exhaustive hours trying to get out of this ridiculous situation, but Sally in their NY office began harrassing me with phone calls.  It was like talking to a brick wall.  They will not cooperate.
