JG William's Construction Company, Inc. William Guajardo Bad Concrete Job, Refuses To Replace, Will Not Return Calls, Internet
I hired Guillermo Guajardo the owner of JG Williams Construction Company, Inc to pour a concrete porch. They left a mess in my back yard and the concrete began to crack within two weeks from the time it was poured. I advised Mr. Guillermo Guajardo of the problems and he made dozens of promises to tear out the porch and re-pour it but he failed to show up to every schedule he gave me. After many many months he agreed to give me a partial refund to "settle" the issue so we could "move on" stating he was too busy for my "small job". Since I was not getting anywhere with him, I reluctantly accepted his offer, however he never sent me the promised refund. Now Guillermo Guajardo will not return my calls or emails. He hides from his unhappy customers and is a dishonest man. I recommend anyone thinking of using this company to look elsewhere. This is not a professional company and you will not be happy with their work.

Concrete Cap
#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

It is unfortunate Mr. Ray Rodriguez is omitting some facts regarding his complaint against our company. Mr. Rodriguez hired us in July of 2010 because he was looking to repair his back porch and wanted to add a few steps however instead of a complete replacement Mr. Rodriguez wanted a 3 Inch concrete Cap so the work in question is for a concrete cap not for a total porch replacment as he is stating in his report.
We ensured to use 6 gauge wire mesh reinforced steel as well as 18 inch long 1/2 inch dowel drilled into the existing foundation every 24 inches on center which is the standard contractor code that the local city development office requires.
The cracks Mr. Rodriguez is referring to are Hairline cracks which are common for newly set concrete especially when we are talking about only 3 inches of concrete that was bonded to an existing concrete patio. We tried to the best of our ability to explain it to Mr. Rodriguez but unfortunately since he was not familiar with the concrete curing process and felt it needed to be removed.
The settlement Mr. Rodriguez is referring to was his suggestion of how to resolve his dissatisfaction not our company's and it was never agreed to by our office. We did counter offer to have a highly reputable spray coat company give him the exact same finish we had provided however he wanted to take advantage and upgrade his project to a Stamped concrete finish which was worth more than double the amount we charged him for his concrete porch cap.
Mr. Rodriguez has already attempted a small claims settlement however independent contractors that have reviewed the case from our end and agree it has no Merrit to stand on. It is unfortunately Mr. Rodriguez has resorted to slander against an individual of our company as a last report.
We have done many successful concrete projects for many highly reputable companies and for thousands of customers located in the area and have not had a similar problem with any of them. We have been in business for over 20 Years, and companies in business for that period of time do not survive if they practice what Mr. Rodriguez is falsely stating.
