hired JGF, John Forzetting to remodel my home. As soon as he started and received deposit, and had a contract with us and the bank to do these improvements under my home loan (FHA 203K), he started insulting our selection of everything we chose to remodel, had a bad attitude, pushy and rude.

He went on vacation in the middle of my project, leaving it half finished.

john Forzetting was hired to paint the entire interior of our home, he used a paint sprayer and painted the walls, lightbulbs, ceiling fans and anything that was in his way, Including our brand new cabinets that were freshly stained. We ended up having to replace them.

He also got paint all over our brand new installed hardwood floors (we installed the floors) that cost us over 5k, after we argued with him to paint before we installed the floors.

In addition to painting by lightbuls, new ceiling fans, etc. He did not do a very good job getting the paint on the walls, there were numerous places all over the walls that had "patches" were the walls were missed with the paint.  Where the paint did get on the walls, he left "paint streams" down the wall.

We ended up having to repaint the entire interior of the house.

He put a new roof on, did not replace damaged sheathing, and did not use the color we selected or dimensional shingles as we had chosen and agreed too. Instead he installed the cheaper 3 tab and installed it over bad sheathing.

he installed ballisters on our second story deck. He did not properly install them and within 30 days they were falling off, causing a safety concern for my small children falling from a second story (20ft high) deck. We could not use our deck until we paid to replace them and have them properly installed by someone else.

he claimed he was licensed to perform electrical work and was not.

He would not give us the key back to our property upon completion and we had to pay to get new locks installed.

He insulted our entire family, and the helper he used was 85 years old, a relative by marriage and bragged how he did not pay him. This is after the 85 yr old worked on a hot roof at 100 degrees and worked for over 2 weeks.

he gave us a 1 year written warranty on his labor, we notified him by certified mail, e-mail and numerous phone calls regarding hsi shoddy work and requested to rectify. He refused to make good on his warranty.

Filed a BBB complaint against him, and he still never resolved.

He is from Florida, where apparently he did poor quality work for someone else, who also filed a complaing with the Florida BBB.

the first thing he said to me was how Ohio contractors did poor work and he was from Florida and did great work. Yeah right, on what planet do people like his quality?
