Complaint Review: J & G Lubrication Company - DBA Jiffy Lube #1226

On 5/19/03 I had brought in my car for an oil change. The
mechanic had suggested I have the oil flushed out in addition to their signature service so I spent $86 for the upgraded service.

Three months later the oil indicator light went off on my
dashboard. I checked the oil and discovered there was very little oil in there so I brought it over to a professional mechanic who did the full work including flushing out the tank.

Fortunately to date there have no signs of oil leakage. I'm still thinking that my engine could have seized which can cost me $5,000 to replace.

I'm mad and disgusted with Jiffy Lube. The only flushing that was done is the $86 that was flushed down the toilet with them.

Since their mechanics skipped auto mechanics 101, they're
going to lose business, not just from what happened to me, but from what happened to all the others that have and haven't posted to this board. Needless to say I'll never do business with them again.
