Complaint Review: Jiffy Lube

 Jiffy Lube in Durham, located off of Hwy 85, has refused to pay for repairs that resulted from a routine oil change!! Not only was my oil almost 2 quarts low...they checked off that my power steering fluid level was okay--I broke down less than 10 minutes away after leaving their shop.  They spilled oil all over my engine, which was clean, forgot to give me my Oil Change reminder sticker which I requested, and the MAnger came to my office to see where I had to fill up power steering fluid myself after I had broken down on the side of the highway.  Smoke was coming from the hood of my car and I thought it was the oil burning off that they spilled--WRONG...the temp gauge was on H!!I pull over, let car cool down and heard a "wining noise" the whole time after I left--never knew this was the power steering fluid low? We find out later , that the smoke was the motor of the hydraulic pump burning up.  The Manager, Corey Schultz, had promised me a refund for my Synthetic Oil change for almost a month--it has never been credited back to card.  Lexus has determined the damage to be around $3200.00 ....I found a mechanic who will repair it alot cheaper and Corporate has refused to split costs or even send their Tech out? Every expert and technician..3 people have inspected car, has said that even if there was a leak , you paid for fluids to be topped off and they didn't perform the service paid for and let you drive off with everything low or improperly filled which made you breakdown? AND how do they explain the oil being low...You dont have an oil leak. I have $300 in towing fees and rental car fees are piling up. The day I finally was told to leave work to get my refund, the Manager told me he wasn't giving me my refund since I was filing a report? What...Im missing more work and he took the cash back and stuck it into the drawer--Plus I told corporate how he was texting me and flirting and how that was unprofessional.  Ryan and Todd from Corporate told me to get an attorney if that's what I needed to do and refused to even be concerned about their Manager's unprofessional actions? Other employees their saw it too and I'm finding other horror stories about this location :(
