Two years ago I took my car into Jiffy Lube. I ask them to flush the transmission fluid, change the oil etc.
The car has never run right since. I had a friend change the transmission fluid just a few weeks ago.

I took him I noticed that the car was pulling like it was slipping. And he said it was my transmission going.
He looked and they had not capped off the fliter. It was slowly getting dry. He was shocked that the car hadn't burned up.

Now he also said they didn't not change the transmission fluid. All they did just put new stuff in it on top of the old. He said when he changed the fluid it was pitch black.

He said it was a wonder it was running at all.
I am shock at Jiffy Lube that they would allow work to be so bad.

I have an estimate on my car repair and it should be junked. It is ashame because the body and interior is still in good shape.

I am going to sell it for parts. And never do business with Jiffy Lube and tell my friends. So to spare them of the car being runiner. My girlfriends finance took his car into Jiffy Lube and his car hasn't run the same either. He is thinking about junking his car as well.

In my opinion, I think they should close all the stores. Why be in business if all they do is ruin people's cars.

You're blaming Jiffy Lube for something that happened 2 years ago?

First, you say the car never ran right after they changed the oil and tranny fluid. How so?

Second, the reason that the transmission fluid was black was because the transmission was burning up. Your friend has no clue what they did or did not do. How, after 2 years, could he tell they added new to old? He can't. You could put new fluid in there, and if it's burning up, it'll be black in a couple of weeks.

There is no way you can blame JL for this. Had they not 'capped off the filter' (No idea what that means) or done something else to damage the transmission, it would have never lasted for 2 years. 2 months would have been a stretch.
