Complaint Review: JIFFY LUBE

My wife took her 93 Buick Regal GS for an oil change @ 162K miles to Jiffy Lube. I always do the change myself but this car is horrible and last time I could not take the filter off. She was in and out in 15 minutes, when they finished she ask how hard was to change the filter and was told that it was not bad, some of them are worst. When I heard the time she spend there I checked the car and of course the filter has not been changed. Took the car back, of course the denied and told me the filter has been changed. I told them that if the filter is new (50 min on the car) take it off and put it back on. It took them 45 min to just loosen the filter between two guys. I know because I spent 2 hrs and did not get it off.

If something can't be done just let me know, charging for the service that has not been provided is a fraud. I have the filter they took off had to put new one because they destroyed that one and I'm planning to get the analysis on it to see how old it is. The filter on that car has not been changed for over 10K miles so the difference will be evident 10K miles filter vs. 5 miles filter.

DON'T GO TO JIFFY LUBE IF YOU ARE WOMAN OR A MAN IN THAT CASE, THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE THAT DOES NOT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.

I will buy special wrench for the filter and go back to changing it myself. I have five cars and a motorcycle that I have worked on myself. It got a little too much so I thought I would give Jiffy Lube a chance to get my business. First time in my life got oil changed at that place and will never go back there.
