I was extremely disappointed with one realtor who works with Remax Realty, Jill Schweitzer. First impression was she seemed very nice however, after meeting with her the second time She showed up late, smelling like cigarettes and she seemed very fake Focusing more on how quickly she could show me a house then on actually listening to what I was looking for She also, at one point stepped out and said she needed to take a business call when in actuallity she had stepped outside to have a cigarette.

I decided to give her one more try and set up another house to look at another day She then rescheduled, twice. In the end this woman is very unprofessional and unreliable. And I was disgusted at how someone who works in the sevice industry, and works with people on a daily basis, could represent themselves so poorly as well as for the business that they work for.

Jill Schweitzer has been an asset to RE/MAX and the real estate profession for 15 years. Her due diligence is impeccable and her performance noteworthy. She has been a part of my business for 7 years now, and I have never come across any of the problems stated in this complaint. I do not believe the accusations stated are true or forthcoming of Jill's professional standing, nor should they have any weight on her ability to do her job.

Anybody that has had the opportunity to work with Jill will verify the exact opposite of these ridiculous claims. Bottom line, on this website, where there are no consequences, you can say/print anything anytime for any reason. Jill went above and beyond when helping me find a condo 2 months ago. Matter of fact, she emailed me a new listing at 11pm on a friday night! We were able to drop an offer by noon the next morning and ended up buying this unit ahead of multiple offers. She was always available when I flew into town. That's what I want from a realtor and Jill provided.

First, if you are coming to this site for "consumer information" you have your own problems.  Consider their business model is to get anonymous people to put complaints about a business or individual and then charge the business $2000 to "arbitrate".  In their arbitration, even if you win, Ripoff report refuses to remove false claims.  There are more reputable sources of information regarding company performance.

Let's talk about working with Jill.  We met Jill 2 years ago when my wife and I started looking for a house.  She happened to have a listing of a house we wanted to see and we had not yet contracted with a realtor.  We were impressed with Jill from our first meeting and continued working with her.  Our house search took 18 months because we were looking for very specific things in move-in ready houses, and in just a few neighborhoods.   In other words, we were very picky.  In our market homes like this were typically selling in one weekend which meant we had to watch new listings daily and schedule showings within a day.  Given all those months of short notice to go see a house as soon as it hit the market Jill was never late.  These demands also meant a lot of emails and phone calls at night.  She always responded late into the night.

In this fast paced market, offers on houses had to be completed the day you saw the house.  We had to put in offers on 7 houses so I can vouch that Jill consistently executed offers in a timely fashion.  When we finally had an offer accepted Jill had to work quickly with the seller to ensure our closing happend on a very short timeline.  She kept it all organized between sellers, buyers, our bank, and the closing agency and we closed on time, on the originally scheduled closing date.   When we picked up our key the selling agent (owner/agent) commented how impressed she was with Jill's ability to get this deal closed on such a short timeline.

Keep this in mind when you read the initial complaint about Jill having to take an important phone call.  It did happen, rarely, over the course of our house search as she typically chooses to return calls afterward.  However, she knows when there are short term deadlines and will work aggressively to meet it.  That phone call she accepts could be to resolve an urgent problem for your closing.

Once that offer was accepted we had Jill list our current house for sale.  Our current house had features that were not common to our neighborhood.  Jill did extensive research on comps beyond just our local neighborhood and had a good idea of what the value of our house was for our initial listing.   She had the listing on the MLS within 24hrs.   She clearly had the house marketed well with the photos and listing descrition as we had over 15 showings in the next four days, from which we received 11 offers.  Jill coordinated with the various agents as we negotiated and we ended up selling for 10% over asking price.

After all that we went through on our lengthy house search, and then the rush at the end to close on a new house while selling our old house within a month, I would gladly recommend Jill to anyone in need of a realtor.

I have known Jill for 2 years and in 30 years of using realtors to build a property portfolio across North America. I find her to be highly motivated and professional. She brought this motivation to the HOA I am a member of in Scottsdale. The HOA have been run for years by a closed group including one individual in particular, who was totally negligent in her responsibilities and may also have misdirected limited funds. Jill came forward and with her usual commitment and motivation  started to make significant positive improvements. This of course angered that remaining old Board member who initiated a campagne of inuendo and non productive character assasination while Jill worked for the betterment of our HOA. The Rip Report can be a good thing, but can also be weapond used by anonymous cowards who snipe from the shadows making slanderous statements without evidence or cross examination.

We have only had positive experieces with Jill. We have used Jill twice in the past and we will be using her again for our next purchase. She has been friendly, professional and deligent in every transaction we've had with her. Buying a home is perhaps the single biggest most important purchase most families will make in their lives. The fact that we have trusted her with two previous purchases and look forward to a continued working relationship with her, speaks volumes more about her character than anyone else can say. Thank you Jill.

Absolutely Not True

This claim against Jill Schweitzer is absolutely false, and I question whether the person filing the complaint is an actual client.  I've know Jill since 2001, she has helped me sell and purchase properties in the past, and I will continue to use Jill as my agent in the future.  She is punctual, organized, thorough, detail oriented, and patient.  When it comes to showing properties, she certainly doesn't try to rush her clients.  We looked at upwards of 100 properties before I found my current house, and she was accommodating to my needs on each and every occasion.  I too have used several of Jill's contacts for various projects at my current residence, and found them all to be both reliable and affordable.  It's truly rare in the real estate business to find someone of Jill Schweitzer's caliber, and I'm highly skeptical of anyone who says anything to the contrary.

Sadly, people with personal grudges or vendettas use this site as an outlet for their problems even though the problems unrelated to the content they post. Please do not be swayed by this unfair report on Jill. I have known Jill and worked in the real estate industry as well. Her clients are huge fans, she is very engaging, and she has a great professional manner. She has strived to improve herself, and got her broker's license in addition to other certifications. Real estate has been her full time profession, unlike many agents who dabble and do not truly understand the business. As I understand it, Jill now heads the HOA of her community.

She is performing due diligence on the workings of the association, past contractor dealings, bank records, lien collections, etc, to ensure that the HOA is run according to its own regulations and for the benefit of its members. This can be an uncorfortable process for prior HOA officers and/or board members if the HOA operations were not previously up to par. I believe this is what is referred to in other posts. What I see is Jill applying the skills she has honed in real estate to her HOA, bringing an attention to detail that perhaps was lacking. Like her real estate clients, Jill is representing the community's owners and doing it well. Don't hesitate to contact her for selling or buying real estate. You'll see what I mean.

My wife and I moved to the Phoenix area from Michigan just over a year ago. We met Jill by accident  at the condo we were renting. When we found out she was a realtor we hired her to find us a place. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help us find the right place. We completed our transaction with no problems. Not only did she help find the right spot for us but helped us find a rental at no charge before we bought. I know of more than once when she would help people find a rental and she never made a dime from the transaction or put any pressure on them to be their realtor. Any claims against Jill of being unprofessional, are in my opinion utter nonsense.

I know Jill she is very honest and caring. I work in the real estate industry in the greater Phoenix area. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about Jill ever! I hope this one compaint for one person doesn't effect Jill's "stellar" performance as a Realtor and business woman in Arizona. The first report just doesn't "ring true" to Jill's character. I don't know what else to say!

I am writing in regards to the negative comments that were written about Jill Schweitzer.  I have been a consumer of Jill for 7 years.  I moved to Phoenix alone directly out of graduate school, not knowing anyone and needed to purchase a home.  Jill took excellent care of all of my needs.  I was in town for a short period of time and she worked tirelessly with me to ensure that I was able to purchase a home that I loved, met all my needs, was in an area where I would be safe and that was beyond comfortable for me.  As I traveled back to school Jill was in constant communciaton with me about the progress of my home purchase.  She went above and beyond in every aspect of her job and I could not be more grateful for her efforts.  When the time came for me to move on from this home I went to none other than Jill and she did an exceptional job again.  I have referred every person that has asked me about real estate to Jill and will continue to utilize her services as long as she is in business.  I have never experenced her being unprofessional in seven years of working with her.  Even when I was not in the market to purchase a home, I knew that I could always call Jill for assistnace with anything.  When my air conditioner went out in the middle of the summer it was Jill I called to refer me to a reputable company that would treat me fairly.  I used her recommendation and was beyond pleased with the work that they did.  In closing, I would like to state that I am unsure of what experience the previous writer had, but I would be willing to stake my life savings on the fact that she did not have this experience with Jill.  I highly recommend Jill to any person looking for quality real estate service and amazing customer servicee.  Jill is one of a kind!

This sort of thing just sickens me, to think someone would stoop this low to slander Jills credibilty, For Amy to take her differences to the internet, shows what kind of character she really has. Not much in my opinion. Everything said about Jill is completley false of coarse. Jill is a upfront honest proffesional women, and anyone that knows her will say the same. She is the kind of women that would work out differences face to face laying everything out on the table, she is no coward. For someone to take her differences to the public internet and slander Jill like this, shows a very cowardly act.

Inconsistent Report

#16General Comment

I read this report and found the individuals reporting to be inconsistent with my personal experience with Jill.  We are Canadian, and found Jill Schweitzer on the internet as a  reputable Realtor in Arizona.  Her thoroughness, professionalism and contientiousness when helping us select our property was excellent.  We travelled to Arizona 3 times before we found what we were looking for.  Between visits, she continually kept us up to date on what matched our interests as well as our budget.  During our scheduled times in Arizona, she was available whenever we were there.  Her honest attitude helped make us more comfortable with the rules and expectations in purchasing foreign property.

Our experience was great, and we have since recommended Jill to several of our friends who have also purchased and others whom are still working with her to find the ideal property for them.

Interesting how this report was filed after Jill was elected President of the Condo Association and nothing prior.  After finding several questionable things with former board members, Jill has taken an attitude of open disclosure on issues regarding the best interests of the entire condo association.  It appears to be an anonymous act of vengence, to discredit her professionally which is sadly not fair.

Please contact me if you want more information on this false report.

I have been a real estate broker for over 22 years, with zero complaints. I care about my clients, no pressure, very flexible and willing to be available whenever they need me, experienced, honest, professional etc. Any of my clients would testify that this post is untrue and ridiculous.

I want to thank John at Aquatic Concepts for posting the truth behind the slanderous post; an angry hoa board member. The homeowners where I live are happy that I have joined the board and am working hard to fix the numerous problems we have had here.

My real estate business is important to me and it is disappointing that someone is attempting to slander me professionally when the reality is, she's mad about not being in control of the hoa anymore. My hope is that you will see through the vindictive slandering and consider contacting me to help you.

Obviously it sounds like this realtor has had problems with others as well

I have been a successful business owner for many, many years and  do not have time to play childish games with people, or to write false accounts with interactions with people that I have done business with.

I am writing what I experienced with Jill Schweitzer.

I don't know if she posted the above comment to try to save face, or if it was an actual business owner. My report was just one account that I had with this woman and hopefully she will take this as a helpful tip on how not to behave when dealing with possible future clients.

Report on Jill Schweitzer is not true

#16General Comment

I am a business owner that has had the privilege of working with Jill Schweitzer. She is not the person described above. In fact, the coward that posted this report is a former board president of an HOA of which Jill is now president. Because Jill has found many things that need to be corrected, this person is doing what she knows best: backstabbing an innocent business because she knows that she cannot be sued if she goes through ripoff reports.

This same anonymous poster, Amy, did the exact same thing to my company a few years ago. I had made some suggestions to the HOA board, with which they agreed. She was the only one who disagreed, and she thought that because she was the president, that she had more voting power than the rest of the board. She decided to punish my company instead. So, under a false name, she filed a vicious, dishonest report (much like what she has done with Jill).

Other board members went to ripoffreports.com and wrote rebuttals to her lies, and I posted 16 pages of references along with a very detailed rebuttal. But the damage was done...No matter what we do, without paying 10-20K, this report shows up to damage my reputation. We have an A+ rating with the BBB, and a spotless ROC record, but Amy's lies are what people see when they google my company name.

Please do not let this lying coward ruin Jill Schweitzer's record in the same way that she tried to ruin mine. It's just wrong.

Just by posting this, I will probably find a new ripoff report against my company because this person does not care about integrity or the truth. However, I cannot let what happened to me happen to another good business owner.

Please just look at Jill's references and you will know that this report is all a lie written by an unstable person.
