Thanks for updating me. I was not aware of stains that would have caused cleaning damage to reduce our deposit in any way (what bedroom or chair or what type of stain).



We have family that know we are at the beach, and make time to come see us, go fishing & enjoy the beach, but do not stay; we erected tents on Friday in case folks that did come to visit (which I explained to you verbally) can not drive home due to being late or tired. We had 1 family of 3 spend the evening in one tent one night (Friday) and that was it (tents were empty on Sat night but Note that there is no verbiage regarding tent erection in agreement, if there was we would not have done so)



There should have been no linens consumed more than normal (I personally stayed in the bedroom with the extra linens plus you had a machine full of linens in the dryer when we arrived, so please dont include those) we had linens on each bed, and I can tell you, at least 3 beds were changed during our stay (we stayed 3 nights, and linens tend to get sandy).



As I mentioned before, we have been to Matagorda beach for several years, and have never had issues with owners, I can say that we always leave the property clean and neat, and have never gone beyond normal wear & tear on any occasion. We had no one stay in the home that was not accounted for in the agreement, as some even left early (Sat morning). If there is any validation you need please advise, and we will be happy to comply.

I am sorry it has taken this long to get back to you. My wife is having estimates of the damage from stains on one chair and one bed cover. I will be getting back to you on this soon, but will be out of my office until next week on this and other matters.



One thing I would like to know is how many people were at our beach house during your stay? We know of three tents that were erected on the east side of the property and more linens consumed than what we would have expected from your stay. There was no mention of having camping in tents in our agreement. Please advise me of how many people were staying at the property.

Mr Allen,

We have been trying to contact you for over a week and you have not responded to our calls or e-mails. We would like to at least communicate with you to explain why we have not received our Security Deposit. Please send us detail information or we will need to take further recourse in obtaining the return of our Security Deposit. As explained in earlier e-mail, we followed all rules & guidelines from your rental agreement, and do not understand why we have not heard from you. We have rented from other home owners for the past 5 years in Matagorda and have never had a problem.
