Jim Boyd - Boyd Wholesale Growers ripoff, purchased 21 leyland cypress, 5 died, will not call back to replace per his quarantee Internet
Several months ago I purchased 21 7-8 ft. leyland cypress trees from Jim Boyd- he gave me a 1 year guarantee. Well, 5 of them have died- I have called him numerous times - he did have the courteousy to call back 1 time and promised to come look at the dead trees.
Never heard a word from him - My husband and I have called him at least 50 times. Last weekend we went to a local Tree Farm and asked if they knew of Jim Boyd - did we hear stories about all of the people in our area that he has ripped off and they are looking for him also. He did a shoddy job of planting these expensive trees and if aour landscaper hadn't taken a look at them and advise us what to do they would have all died.
