I was looking on the internet to see the cost of cars. Somehow a Mr. Doug Richardson with Jim Burke Automotive got my name and called me about a car. I told Mr. Richardson that I did not feel I could afford a car at present.

To make a long story short, I allowed Mr. R. to talk me into coming in and also into buying a car.

Mr. Nick York with special financing handled the deal and explained it to me. I thought I understood. (This meeting was videoed.)

When my son saw the car and looked at the paperwork, he told me that I had paid much too much for the car.

I took the car back within three days and told Mr. York I could have purchased a new car with more features cheaper than he sold me my car for.

With dealer specials and incentitives, I would have paid only approximately fifteen thousand dollars for the new car rather
than the twenty thousand I paid for a preowned car with 29,000 miles on it.

Mr. York said that I would not qualify for any discounts due to my credit. I later found out that everyone qualifies for these dicounts. (Mr. York did not video this conversation.)

Mr. York told me also that he would see to it that new tires were put on the car along with floor mats and a cd player. He also advised that he would get the scratches off of both the front and back bumpers.

After leaving my car over the weekend I picked up my car yesterday and the mats were in (they didn't match) the cd player was in however I only had 2 new tires and still scratches.

I took the car back and they are susposed to get these remaining things done.

I don't think anything can be done for me. I signed a contract so it looks like I am stuck. However, I would like others to know about this so another senior citizen on limited income does not have this happen to them.
