Complaint Review: Jim Jun Hair Studio

The owner: Mr. Jim Jun is pretty good at what he does (cutting, styling hair, etc.) but he is like a snake in the grass and will rip you off.  First of all, he will push products and services on you that you don't really need.  The way he does it is smoother than a used car salesman.  He will create a rapport with you to pretend he's your friend and when you say "no" to the things he "suggests", he will "show" you how disappointed he is and make you feel really bad with the worst case of a guilt trip.  And when you finally say yes, he will rip you off by saying things like "I normally charge $100, but for you, I'll give you a discount and make it only $80.  Now, I gave in and bought one of the hair products he was selling.  He insisted that it really costs $40, but he will give it to me for $30.  I thought it was a good deal.  But when I got home, I was suspicious so I googled the brand and found out that it's a GENERIC brand that doesn't even come up.  The hair product he sold me really only cost $5.

I you go there, only get a hair cut and nothing else.  He's sneakier than a pick pocket and will lie to your face about how much things really cost him.  And no matter what, NEVER let him (or his wife) know any detail about you.  Just keep your mouth closed or else he will use that to manipulate you into buying more "KNOCK OFF" things at outrageous prices.
