After checking with a number of dealers and comparing value and verbal affirmation of quality over the web, I decided on Jim Laabs for a Bari Sax.Jim and Troy assured me that their instruments were of high quality and value. When they confirmed a delivery time of 10 days I was pleasantly surprised. After 2 different confirmations of shipping times 14 days later I had my doubts.Over six weeks went by and 3 different affirmation dates,I did receive my sax.
I ordered a 700 series Bari but received a 500 series!
The mouthpiece was defective and so was the ligature.
Unusable.
I have sent a number of e-mails to voice my complaints but get no response.
Although they claimed the horn had even intonation it does not and some of the rods are clunky and loose. After a number of unresponded E-Mails to their customer service I am left with the understanding that they are sellers of anything but quality.
Beware they do not respect good business practices.
After the sale you are on your own.
Check negatives on web market place ebay and beleive them.
