On September 9, 2003, my husband, Jack and I listened to a Jim Rosen Classified Ad infomercial. We ordered it totaling $61.44. We received it about 1 week later, and in it was a book titled: Instant Internet Business. We called that number and left a message and Bill Todd returned my call very promptly. In fact, my first conversation with Bill Todd was on September 16, 2003. He was excellent!! He told us everything we wanted to hear I suppose. Anyway, we were open and honest with him about our situation. (I may get into that later) He guaranteed that we would get a return immediately, especially since we agreed to purchase one of the best programs available through Jim Rosen and Web Ad Systems. The total commitment we made to Bill Todd was $9500.00, on September 17, 2003.

I had checked out Web Ad Systems through the BBB of Phoenix, Arizona and was told that they had a few complaints but all were resolved, and it was just small internet complaints. At that time, being new to e-commerce, I really didn't realize that there could have been much more to those little internet complaints. Anyway, the lady assured me that they were OK. Well, another sad thing was that Bill Todd promised to be my partner in this business opportunity. I felt that I would be more secure with an experienced e-commerce partner.

Time passed; say about 2 weeks, still no business opportunity kit. I kept calling for one, then finally I spoke with Bill Todd, and I insisted they Federal Express it overnight. With that kind of money involved, I thought that is the way it would have been handled in the first place. Anyway, we finally did get the kit on or about October 8, 2003, and wow what a shock! It was just booklets of hype no real commitment documents from them for what I purchased.

I was promised a written guarantee, a business commitment from Web Ad Systems for our long term business venture. You see, the business agreement was that Web Ad Systems would do all this guaranteed web traffic for four years and after the 4 years, I would be exempt from a renewal fee. The traffic was to be qualified customers, making me think that they were actually qualifying the guaranteed traffic. And by the way once the business deal is complete, as a business owner, we were informed not to contact the sales rep for they would not be able to help you. Wow, another major misrepresentation of this whole business deal! (What happened to the business partnership?)

I was also presented the deal with the 1-800 phone no for $24.95 month and if they closed the call, then you would make 50% profit. Well, with such a profit margin as Bill Todd explained, I thought, that would be fair. They also insisted I use their Merchant for Credit Cards, but we chose not to. We were already registered with Pay Pal.

Also, I felled to mention that Bill Todd used false profits on fitness equipment. He compared my cost to the suggested retail price instead of the price that Jim Rosen and Web Ad Systems actually price the equipment on your web page as Factory Direct! Commercial Quality at Factory Direct Prices You can go to my website and note the SLACHES. www.toyourfitness.com

Furthermore, it has been very frustrating because it is very hard to get to speak with the same person twice in a row. In about a week to 2 week period, I spoke to Lisa, Loraine, Jason, Jeff, and no-one seemed to really know who you were. Always insisting that they'll have so and so call you back. Well, that usually never came. Just one e-mail was actually answered.

You know, we were also told that the original business package never was mailed because of some computer glich. Well, you know, we wanted our business documents badly. Jack was talking to Jason and was promised that the original business package was actually mailed out on October 3, 2003. We never did receive that package either.

Then on October 6, 2003, we were talking to Jeff and asking him about why is there so little activity on our web page, and he suggested that if we truly want a successful business this would truly do it! The two suggestions are as follows:

1. Targeted Web Addresses (suggested Web Ad Systems Price $3984.00

a. includes 4 more web sites and no less than 2000 more qualified customers to our sites. They would use web ads and banners to promote along with many search engines too.

2. Digital Catalog Software ($ 2500.00) This does not even exist

a. this would create convenience for the customer.

b. I planned to run fitness equipment sale ads and follow with a cd after receiving request for more info.
Note: I felt that I needed to promote this fitness equipment off line as well.

Anyway, if we purchased this above marketing package immediately, then it would only cost us $1620.00. What a deal! From $6484.00 to $1620.00, how could we go wrong? We needed this business to work. Jeff also assured us that we would get a confirmation of our purchase and a receipt as to what we actually purchased. That impressed me once again, I even thought maybe this is for real and the other problems were just coincidental. However, that confirmation and receipt never did come. Then when I called to speak with Jeff about that, he of course was not in, so I did have the privilege to speak with Loraine. Now, once again, she was very business like, and told me that Jeff had not done any of what he said and that they did not have a Digital Catalog. However, she did set up the 4 other domains for us so we should surely get a lot more activity.

Well no more traffic showed up, other than what we were purchasing from outside web traffic pushers. I think we purchased a total of 80,000 hits and not one sale.

We were very concerned and requested out of this business opportunity, and requested a full refund. We did this 3 times, no response

Then yesterday, October 29, 2003, I was able to speak to Web Ad Systems Quality Control Dept. and was only humiliated. I was speaking to a male by the name of Chris. When I finally was able to get some info, on credit and refunds, he refused to email the return procedure or address to me. He said You're going to write them down if you want them. Well, I knew that I was not going to get anything in writing, so what was I to do? Then, why of a sudden, there was a return procedure. How do you return guaranteed web traffic and a Web Page they supplied me with? Anyway, I'll be happy to return the booklets of hype.

Furthermore, I failed to mention that when I called for some information on the Jim Rosen Fitness Equipment, say like a brochure showing the commercial specifications, and comparing one item to another and their benefits over the other, they did not have any. So they were totally out of anything that could facilitate me on off line marketing, since it seemed that that was the only activity I would actually get. Anyway, as you can see, I didn't have much to have faith in.

You know, I was so open and honest with Bill Todd, the Sales rep. for Web Ad Systems, that I explained our total financial situation, and he assured me that this was a proven industry, and that this year's predicted monies to be spent on fitness equipment was $8 billion dollars this coming year. Previous year, $6 Billion was spent. I felt why not get some of those sales. Anyway, here we are.

I explained that my husband had a kidney transplant in 1988, and here we are starting all over. Jack, my husband, inherited polycystic kidney disease from his father, who died from it. We have been very blessed for the opportunity to have a new beginning; however, it has truly been very rough. He is 60 years if age and I am 50. We are not afraid of work, and we stretch when necessary. However, we both feel raped by Jim Rosen and Web Ad Systems. Isn't this ironic, I struggled to get the business package (never received the original) and now I am struggling to return it!

Well, I feel so embarrassed and foolish to have been taken for so much money. I pray that this scam is brought to a halt before too long. I truly encourage everyone with similar experiences to submit a Rip-off Report then maybe there can be a class action suit. Just an idea.

So, the total debt we are faced with is:

A. J Rosen Classified business package $61.44

B. Jim Rosen Total Free Line 24.95

C. W Craig & Company (I found this out from the discover card bill)
9500.00

D. W Craig & Company
1621.00
----------------------------------------------------- $ 11,207.39
This does not include all of our own efforts for the 80,000 web hits we paid for from outside sources.
Anyway, we need help and I thank God for the wonderful gentlemen Jack and I have had a pleasure meeting through Mentors In Motion. He is our mentor/facilitator and Jack and I are students of the human empowering education taught by Mr. Val Smyth. This gentleman, Rob, took his time to assist us by doing some research on this Jim Rosen and Web Ad Systems, and emailed us with the Rip-Off Reports how we could get our voices heard and hoping to God that this does not happen to anyone else.

So hear we are, in process of recovering our LOSS of $11,207.39.

Complete Reimbursement

Master Card has reimbursed me also, so I have been paid in full.

I appreciate the service that both Discover Card "excellent service" and Master Card "Good Service". That is very important to know about your credit card service agreements. What are your rights? What is the credit card's protection for you as a credit card holder to actual fraud by documented proof provided by the affended customer, you. We all need to be aware of our card holder's corporate policy on our behalf as the consumer. Knowledge is power.

By-the-way, post below your experiences. I will help you the best way I can. I think that we need to all come together, for there is strength in numbers, and make an honest effort to stop this terrible crime. There could possibly be an attorney that may see the opportunity in the numbers to place a class action suit against these unethical and just plain deceitful people. They do not deserve to continue to prey on the innocent. The internet is very dangerous if you are not an informed person in e marketing. You will find that there are good and honest business opportunities out there. I have done much research and a "LOT" of learning since my first and last scam!

Remember, we determine our destinies. Let's just go for it!!

Warmest Regards,

Recovery Through Action ..thank you! ..Rip-Off Revenge Do-it-Yourself Guide is a powerful tool that was instrumental in helping me recover my monies

Thank you for this opportunity to share with you all, my success of getting back what is honestly yours. Do not ever let these people intimidate you. Take back the control of your distiny. As of 12/03/03, I have recovered $9564.44 and in process of recovering the balance.

My advice to anyone reading this daring to venture into the e-commerce business, Call me first. I have done much research and know the best opportunity in the world and it is solid and honest. If you are truly looking for a home based business, please by all means, be cautious and aware. And by all means know this: Nothing is FREE and anything worth doing must include the human spirit. Don't get sucked into believing that because of the advancement in technology today, that all you need is a web page and web traffic to your site. Don't fool yourself. If you want to succeed in any home based business, you must be willing to declare yourself a beginner and be teachable and coachable, then with the right kind of education, information, and consultation, one can expect success. Without it, you will fail. There is no machine that can replace the human spirit.

Furthermore, when researching a business opportunity, please be aware of who gets the money. Does the Corporate HDQTRS pay you or do you receive the money and then pay the corporation for services/inventroy provided. That's what you would do if you had a physical store. You would collect the money, deposit the money in your business account, then pay for yourinventory on date due. Thus, notice, that the true business owner controls his own monies. So, I ask of you, for your own sake, document everything when making a business deal. Know exactly where and who controls your pay for services rendered by you. Remember, a home based business is exactly that. It is your business, and it is your right to control your destiny.

If interested in more information: You can email me at applejfl@msn.com or voice mail: 1-713-866-4812. and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I am very grateful for the services provided by www.badbusinessbureau.com. In my opinion, this service is priceless. The Rip-Off Revenge Do-it-Yourself Guide is a powerful tool that was instrumental in helping me recover my monies.

Again, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I have certainly learned a different mindset since this SCAM.

Wishing you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
