Complaint Review: Jim Sorkin Construction Beverly Hills

I wish I woud have read the Ripoff Report before hiring Jim Sorkin.  I believe he gave me fake references.  He took my deposit money, and didn't complete the work.  His sub contractors do not show up.  The three week job to remodel my kitchen ran over into four months.  When I tried to fire him, he threatened my neighbors doing work on their home by telling them he would report them for doing illegal work.  He did not cover any of my furnniture or hardwood floors.  He damaged and scratched the hardwood floors. The tile he installed was uneven and began to crack within a couple weeks.  He stole a light fixture, and broke several things in my house.   His license is clean because it takes several months to get a complaint filed   Jim Sorkin is a dishonest, and will cost you money!
