Jim Walter Homes fraudulently graded lumber or below grade lumber used to build house Shreveport Louisiana
I know an older couple who purchased a JWH house and were asked to sign multiple copies of contracts on several different occaisions over a 4 month period. Additionally, the lumber used to build their house was to be #2 grade yellow pine or better, instead their house was built with #3 reject lumber which caused the walls to bow and the sheetrock to pop off and crack, which also resulted in the walls not being square, which caused air leaks around windows and doors and uneven floors. Additionally, they have copies of documents "witnessed" by their JWH rep: Louanna Townsend but never signed by them. If anyone has had the same or similar problems. Please post and update to your complaint o post a new complaint. I feel that JWH is a sham and a shameless attack on unsuspecting working class people who have the dream of owning a home.
